Losi was a dying brand regarding team drivers back when Losi Sr. still owned the company... he hated paying drivers and publicly went on video saying drivers were selfish because they wanted a livable wage to race for the company. Just let TLR lay down and die; there are much better brands out there that actually treat their racing programs like they should be treated.

It is quite easy to imagine how intense was Bruno's schedule in the last couple of yerars by participating every class of races. If I were him, I would transfer to a platform without an off-road program and seek a little more ease in life.

Its interesting now having seen Phend take dominating role in 10scale at Hoosier, then again in 8thscale at SIC with E and Nitro. Ronnefalk might be running onroad, but it will be Phend carrying team in offroad disciplines. Really interesting 2025 season in staging.

Good thoughts and great you are doing these. It’s like having a best mate who is into RC as much as you are 😅 Lots of interest in how this might enable If1nity to expand into Europe. Exciting times and very much looking forward to what we see in 2025

it was stated on FB that Bruno would focus his time racing on road. I am sure he'll want to develop a top notch 1/10 EP TC to defend his WC title and that is going to take a serious amount of his time. Their 1/10 and 1/8 nitro plattform is the benchmark and the current WC - why not achieve this in EP. Infinity is certaily willing to invest the $$$. I wouldn't count on them upping their off road activities much with the arrival of Bruno. As stated 1/8 offroad is so saturated it's a hard market to crack.

Hopefully we RC racing fans will continue to see Mr. Coelho participating in pro off-road events. IIRC he has recently won significant/major events I think even in the USA the past couple years. Being primarily an off-road enthusiast, and from the USA, I'm not too familiar with Infinity as a brand although of course I hear about it occasionally. Congratulations to Bruno if whatever number of reasons this change has occurred is best for him, and if that means no more off-road then so be it, and that's probably not the case and certainly in a couple-few years this could all change up again. Who knows...Maybe Coelho to TLR in 4 years?

The dollars have to make sense, it’s at simple as that. Both for deciding to drop your paid team, and when it comes to picking up paid drivers to add to your team. Only the companies making the decisions have all of the numbers to make those decisions. It’s going to be interesting to see if Horizons long term play works out for them. Who knows, it may change the shape of pro level sponsorships in the future, or they may have to put their tail between their legs and go back to running a paid team. I feel fortunate to have grown up in Michigan. I worked at Unlimited RC in Waterford Michigan when Dakotah got his start. I even called his first races. I remember his mom bringing him up to run his Tamiya Blitzer Beetle after school. Incredible to see what he has been able to do over the years. He was always super calm and relaxed on the drivers stand, and never got upset at anything. Allen Horne was a big help in him getting started in racing as well, so I have to give him a shoutout. His parents Doug and Nancy were always great to be around too. Wish I could share some pictures I have from Unlimited RC, it was a cool place. Few years later I started racing at AMS in Grand Blanc where I lived, and got to watch Tater get his start too. I was never one of the fast guys myself unfortunately, but was fun to get to watch those who were.
