I thought derby cars all had their coil springs removed, anytime I see them at a derby they all have solid high stance so I guess struts are left in then welded so they don't extend? Cool video

My only suggestion is to wrap the frame with a chain to keep from tearing the frame where your hook it. Otherwise we do this to our full size cars when needed!

You should build a mower next year I know that would be different and a lot of welding but in the grand scheme of things there extremely cheap to build and oddly enough a ton of fun I use to make fun of the mowers tell a buddy talked me into building one this year I’ve ran it three times and I’m building my second one for a five hundred to win show in two weeks

Now what if you would take a piece of cage material and temporarily welded it from rail to rail when you get it to the point you want it? Wouldn’t it help hold the tension and help prevent it from going back while you pulled the other side? Then once both rails were where you’d want them you mount the bumper to hold them in place and have the frame rails under tension.🤷🏼‍♂️

Must be a later thing with American car because most car companies in UK/Europe stopped having a spare tyres as far back as 2005/07.

If you are looking for lots of donut tires mitch i have local junkyard that just scraps them.

I know several people around me just use the donut wheels without tires on them, and it works better, at least on the Hondas they run.

I don't think it's from a surge of current that blows the fuse I think it's the fact that it's so delicate I believe it just pops the filaments running my first honda this weekend I'm a camry guy also hot blocking gotta by pass the fuse I'm going to remove the fuse and use a piece of sheet copper to make a bridge
