As long as your transmitter and receiver have the same polarization you will be fine. If one is horizontal and the other is vertical you are going to see significant losses. Nice video without a lot of talking and gets right to the point.

why don't you do fpv drone videos anymore? I used to love when you did those that's why I subscribe to your channel a long time ago?
@TorbanDallas9 ай бұрын
@@jamisonhinton5837 Hi Jamison, thank you for your comment. I appreciate your long-time subscription to my channel. Creating drone videos used to be a passion of mine, but over time, it became overwhelming. I found myself spending most of my time indoors, either building drones or editing videos, and it started to feel more like a pressure than a joy. Eventually, I lost the fun in flying drones, so I decided to stop creating drone content altogether. After taking a long break, I began considering using my video equipment for road and gravel ride videos, which I've found more enjoyable and fulfilling. If this new direction doesn't align with your interests, I completely understand if you choose to unsubscribe. I don't foresee myself returning to the FPV drone topic in the future. Thank you again for your support.

What if u have a pre built drone
@TorbanDallas Жыл бұрын
If you have a drone without a receiver, use a receiver that can be bound with the TX12, otherwise the drone needs to have a matching receiver preinstalled. By the supported protocols of the tx12 there are good chances that it will be possible.

Some 3 years later but still worth nothing that LQ is a better metric when looking at radio reception quality. I bought this antenna for ELRS rather since by now these are not used as much unless you covert them. It just goes to show that open source will eventually become the dominant path for just about everything

What do you think about this bike and SRAM XPLR?
@TorbanDallas Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment and your interest in my canyon gravel bike! Well, my thoughts: I came from roadbiking, also with an alloy roadbike custom build with a sram rival etap axs. Because of my experiences, i was looking for a type of gravel bike close to a roadbike. Agile geometry, alloy frame and sram electronic shifting. This bike totally fits my needs, using it on my similar routes like my roadbike routes with fast gravel parts. Riding it fast like my roadbike - clicked in with my shoes to the pedals. The grail al feels stiff and agile. The etap axs is amazing, as on my road bike, wouldn't ride anything else anymore. I could even imagine riding a 1x12x on a road bike. The 12x cassette offers a wide spectrum of gears for different conditions.

@TorbanDallas Жыл бұрын
Hi Aldrin, thank you for your interesst in my Allez Sprint. My previous bike also was an alloy roadbike, 15 years old, rim brakes and pretty uncomfortable. Compared with my Allez Build, the Allez is much more comfortable and way faster. Its handling is pretty agile. I'm 100% percent happy with my build, wouldn't change a thing. I can't compare it with a carbon tarmac sl7 in the same size, so my opinion about stiffness and respond only could be very subjectiv. Ride save too! Or "Kette rechts" as we use to say in germany :)
