doesn't really help that you film these places on a sunday and in rhyl it's particularly bad. next time film on a saturday for a more accurate representation also this is the 3rd "rhyl is boarded up bad" video i've seen of yours- isnt 1 enough? rhyl is still a shitehole but doesnt mean you have to exploit that for potential views with clickbait titles

When did you film this? A lot of the shops you filmed with shutters were just not open yet, must have been 7 am on a Sunday morning! I live here and some of the ones you filmed are being done up. The walk along the seafront is lovely, there are some really nice restaurants and a surf bar where you can sit outside and watch the sunset. Why is it a thing now that people have to make places look as bad as possible!!

Pretty much the same as most UK towns unfortunately…I don’t know what the answer is but it’s so sad to see.

you have heard about the 300 million rebuild for this area there shut now but will be back as new by 2030 theres serious developements happening in next 5 years but it will get better year on year you watch theres a bigger picture here and all is not as it would seem right now i run small guesthouse in this area so am in the now as to say so not as bad as you think lets all get together and make bpool good again

Actually stoke is amazing but u only show the bad parts go to: west port lake, trentham gardens, the monkey forest etc. Stoke is a really nice place

A lot of towns in the UK are boarded up now. At least Blackpool has a great shopping centre and seafront. Also a lot of rebuilding is taking place. It all seems to have got worse since Brexit so I suppse we will continue on the downward path it's a pity as dear England was such a please t country before.

Blackpool needs investors big millionaire/billionaire investors it needs to change and it can, I think the council and the government are the problem they have let the place run down it could be something much better.

Sadly you can go to any town/city and find boarded up shops. Every one used to go to their town shopping at least once a week. but now most is done online, and rents and rates have gone up so cheaper to have an online shop now...

Sadly you can walk around any city/town and find this. It used to be a big thing to go shopping in the town every saturday, but online shopping and fake pandemics killed a lot of shops..

Locals rarely go into the centre of Blackpool. There are very nice residential areas all around it where you have all the facilities you need nearby.

Pedestrianisation => dereliction. Stockport did it first in Edgeley a quarter of a century ago. 30% vacancy rate (then one of the worst in the country) within ten years. Now this [as seen in video] and PITA parking schemes have ruined the town centre for business too.

You show us the truth people hate it this country is going downhill plenty shops are closing down etc keep up your videos.

Lots boarded up , but most are open , was up there last week , was packed unable to walk around BP so many people there for the fireworks and lights

I was going to like and share the video because I love my Mallorca but you said "spain" so eff it.

I grew up in Kelsall just down the road from Tarporeley. I went to the comprehensive school there. It’s so lovely to see it again.

Times have changed, retail parks and internet shopping have had an effect, we need to stop trying to prop up the high street with tin pot 5 minute businesses, how on earth some of them get the financial backing is beyond me, and scale it down and make the area residential.

A few years ago even the pornbroker shop closed down in Stoke.

Can't they convert these buildings into low rent apartments for pensioners who can't afford to live in densely populated cities? By attracting a different segment of the population, they could bring life back to these localities.
