I love your quilt. you are so creative. I cancelled my glue order. I am going to sew by hand. I saw another person sew by hand. Then I saw someone who glued. I wondered about all that glue. That person suggested not putting the glue close to the edge. I love seeing your mom help.

My Mom made my now husband of 40 YES FORTY YEARS a double knit quilt when we were dating and made it extra long because he is tall. We still have it to this day and it is sooo warm!! She tied it instead of trying to quilt it. The only thing I have ever had to do to it was re-tie it in a couple places where it came untied. The backing is still in good shape. Edges are good too. I love how you saved this from going into the garbage. It will keep some good and toasty on a COLD night!! Yet another awesome quilt Dave!!💙🪡🧵

I'm guessing you didn't pre-wash the jelly roll colours? Shame about the stain on the reverse - maybe a lite pit-pat with a very mild bleach solution. All this aside, I absolutely adore the quilt, I would totally have something like that on my bed. The skeleton bones look amazing! Good job!
