We lived in that development across the street from the Al Hambra dinner theater. At the time (1985) all the 6ths graders in Jacksonville went to one building for the 6th grade, RL Brown Middle School so imagine my shock seeing how poor that neighborhood was right around RL Brown.

too much traffic on J Turner Butler. Feel like they need 1 more lane in the future and the whole FL-202 needs to be a toll freeway. The airport is slowly getting busier and they need to add another terminal. There needs to also be sidewalks near nature for people to walk and with their dogs. Finally, they need to build a interstate freeway or highway that can help with transportation.

Stadium is def not at the end of its useful life. Its been audited and they said the structure is solid and rrady to go for another 40yrs easily. Thats why the renovations are being pushed. And yes its necessary to keep up with the NFL standards.

Hi there! Thanks for pointing that out. You're absolutely right-Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach are separate cities with their mayors and local governments. I would still consider Jacksonville Beach apart of JACKSONVILLE.

Night life - not just clubs but also good late night food venues and activities like in most major cities is my biggest complaint. I also wish there were more major attractions in the city. Its seems like all they are building lately in the city are housing and gas stations but nothing fun to do for visitors and locals.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I totally get what you mean about wanting more nightlife options and attractions here in Jacksonville. While our city has some great spots, there's always room for more variety and excitement. I'm hopeful that as Jacksonville grows, we'll see more fun places to hang out and enjoy late-night eats. Your feedback is super valuable, and I'll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks again for watching and sharing your perspective! What are some of your current favorite attractions in Jacksonville?

@@yashawellsthe only way the nightlife will improve downtown. They have to tear DOWN FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH! It’s hindering all types of businesses from operating within certain distances of a church. Especially alcohol sales such as bars. They’ve had a hold on the city for almost 100yrs. Really sad!!!

When I first moved to Jax back in 1962, Moncrief Road was the 'color line' for NW Jax. Jax was better overall back then for quality of life, housing, schools, shopping, employment, government services, crime rates, etc.

@ocktai_girl, I'm really glad you brought this up! Being a real estate agent is definitely about more than just making sales. Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention. I want to clarify that my aim is to provide comprehensive and inclusive real estate services to everyone interested in Jacksonville. This video is based on an article that was published and not my own opinion. I believe in the value and potential of all areas within our community. My references to specific areas are intended to highlight the diversity of options available to homebuyers, considering various preferences and needs. It is not my policy or practice to discriminate against any neighborhoods or individuals. I am committed to adhering to all legal and ethical standards in real estate. If there's any specific content or statement that has caused confusion or concern, I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and address any misunderstandings.
