It seems that the Charismatic Movement began at the same time belief in the Rapture did in 1830 in Scotland with Presbyterian Minister Edward Irving, who was most likely the first preacher to ever say that God wanted to give a renewal of Pentecostal-Charismatic gifts to Christians. It doesn’t appear that anyone else talked about a renewal of these gifts or the rapture theory before Irving. I found it extremely disturbing that in Raymond Arroyo’s biography of Mother Angelica she revealed that a charismatic priest laid hands on her and the other sisters and they began to speak in tongues, after which she said Jesus told her to build a tv station. This is eerily similar to Paul Crouch who said that Jesus told him to build one too. Then Mother Angelica was a guest many times on his TBN show until she said it came to a point that the ecumenism was making her compromise her theological beliefs too much. There’s a lot of powerful evidence that the tongues Charismatics speak is too similar to the kundalini demonic possessions which happen to Hindus. Other pagans can speak in tongues too. There have been brain scans of a few people during which they were speaking in tongues. The language center of the brain wasn’t activated. Something is making them speak that is completely unnatural. I believe it is a level of demonic possession. What else could explain this? It’s not hypnosis or their imagination since the language center of the brain would be active for that. Mother Angelica tried to explain that Catholic Charismatics are the real thing and should not to be confused with demonic Toronto blessing or Brownsville revival type of Charismatics who can slither on the ground and snort like pigs. I don’t know if she ever really denounced the Charismatics at TBN as being demonic. I saw around five years ago or so information about a Catholic Bishop having an official charismatic ecumenical conference with people from many denominations, including the Toronto blessing church and Kenneth Copeland. How is that for irony. Imo it’s all demonic and the Church has been infiltrated to the point She would require an unbelievable dismantling of the greatest miraculous magnitude to change Her course.

NO! Storge is NOT Charity and does not lead to it: HUMILITY does! Ever since Nationalism appeared in the 1870s, we have idolized our respective Nations throughout Christendom - with disastrous results. No, an ancient pagan cult is not going to help us! The only way it might help us is in helping us see how terribly inadequate we are at fulfilling our duties as sons and daugthers and as parents - but that's a 'negative' contribution: in and of itself, it CANNOT lead to Charity. That might knock some sense into us and even humble us to the point of actually seeking true Holiness which can only be found in the Holy Ghost given to us in the Sacraments. But more Filial piety, in and of itself, is a dead end - I should know, I've been there. And I'm not saying this from an 'Internationalist' point of view: I love my people and my country and I want to see them flourish but the best way to do this - in fact, the ONLY way - is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness FIRST.

It is not only liberalism which is a uniting bond of the numerous protestant sects, but it is also their shared hatred of the Catholic Church, and it is the constant work of demonizing & undermining Catholicism every chance they get which unites them in common purpose.

All these false traditionalists ripping of MHFM's content. Bro. Michael did an in depth expose more than a year ago. Same with the fake Sr. Lucy. MHFM was first in the world to suggest the idea of a fake Sr. Lucy. They all want to hate on MHFM, but steal their content.

Western bias made me dislike Japanese philosophy and Indian philosophy. But I study Confucianism because Eastern thought because it deserves my attention. So, I instantly admired Confucius when reading "The Analects." He teaches us to revere our ancestors, respect our families and friends, do our moral duties, and grow closer to each other with rituals. The family is the most important institution in China partly because of him. Since Confucius piqued my curiosity about Japan, I've fallen in love with that country and its culture, They even fascinate me enough that I studying Japanese because I long to visit Japan. Japanese people are admirably polite and considerate. They also show respect i haven't seen here in the U.S. Japanese society is highly stratified into social classes, and how you speak depends on whether you're talking with an an inferior, a an equal, or a superior. Although I love my country, I wish I could be a dual citizen of the United States and Japan. Again, I love American. But I've rejected American conservatism for North American High Toryism partly because "American conservatism is a paradox. It's a paradox because American conservatives preserve Locke's classical liberalism, which is too individualistic for me. And that helps explain why I admire Japan and China and hate Communism.

If you want to prove Nouvelle Theologie is a heresy, then you will have to destroy (and I mean destroy) the work of Blondel first. You can't just anathematise the problem. You also have to anathematise the root cause.

Malachi Martin relates while he (i.e. Fr. Both Hamas and Israel commits atrocities, and both should be held accountable for their actions. It is worth mentioning that the majority of Palestinian Christians have negative views of Israel. According to a 2020 poll by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR), 83% to 84% of Palestinian Christians say that they are worried about Israeli settlers’ attacks, a potential denial of their civil rights, or an Israeli expulsion of Palestinians from their homes and lands. Additionally, 73% are worried about the endless Israeli occupation and 67% are worried about an Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories. 62% of Palestinian Christians believe that Israel’s goal is to expel the Christians from their homeland. Findings also show that 3% have had their homes demolished by the Israeli army, 14% say the Israeli occupation forces have confiscated their land, 17% have been exposed to army fire, 42% have to cross Israeli check points, 6% have been banned from travel, and 28% say they live near Israeli settlements (which in turn exacerbates all these threats).

Israel is allowed to ask for a king when they finish occupying all the land they're supposed to occupy?!? Thanks for that,! Many modern Bible studies use the story of Israel wanting a king to show what an evil thing monarchy is blah blah blah.

There's only one rational way to maintain the unity and the recognizability of the Church: a supreme living earthly authority. I admire the historical acumen of Erick, but I'm afraid he gets lost in the myriad of events and theological opinions when the matter is a lot more simple: do we believe in divine providence? Do we believe that the Holy Spirit guides Christ's church? Do we believe that God is powerful enough to do so even through the infidelities and weaknesses of his servants, including the Pope?

Christendom is the rejection of everything in modern politics. Trump waved a rainbow flag in his first run and he is even more in line with the world this time around. Rah rah, Israel, gets amber rose to endorse him, the only substantial difference between him and Obama when he ran is the discourse on immigration (just the discourse, because in practice Trump will make no difference). Don't vote, the political route offers no solution, just pray and evangelize Trump is no better than Biden.
