WOW i wish i could block you from ever showing up on any you tube on any device, millennials with no concept of real life. FULL TIMING is a lifestyle not get as man toys into what you're pulling to destroy as much earth as you can. Horrible.

Years of Pismo tells me if you do not air down to 8lbs in every tire just don’t bother. If airing up your tires, blocking a trail and getting un stuck is less work than airing up your tires then (lol) good luck bud.

Truck was aired down, thought the trailer would be ok considering it was less that 1 mile. The sand is much different than Pismo, and this road is no sand hwy lol

I would be awfully nervous using any filter purchased off of Amazon saving a few dollars on an $80,000 truck. If you are serious about adding miles to your vehicle, a fuel/water separator kit should be purchased... FASS, Air-Dog, Glacier Diesel, Cat-Duo to list a few are going to a lot better job. There's a lot of gimmick "OEM" Mopar parts so you have to be really careful...
@AdventureEndeavor3 күн бұрын
thanks for the advice. You might be correct, We have had zero issues with the filters off Amazon they are from Mopar and the truck has 136k on it. We do all of this maintenance ourselves and we believe that factory is best
@davidholmberg1489Күн бұрын
@@AdventureEndeavor you got me all wrong brother. I am not saying that factory is not good to go. I am just saying purchasing off of amazon in general. Amazona has trouble with some 'copycat' versions of products. I know there are some fake Mopar parts. I cannot say that there are fake Mopar filters, but I would not be surprised to find out China is. One should be much safer purchasing from an actual dealership or retailer like directly from Mopar etc. By the way, you aint Mopar, you aint shit! ;)

I had a smallish 5th wheel 30 ft…it alleviated most of your problems. That being said we have a 26ft Minilite travel trailer and we love it. Weight distribution hitch makes me feel so confident towing, it’s like the trailer is locked down on the ball and it stops sway. (Definitely get that hitch). Good luck it’s nice to see someone who doesn’t have a 40 ft 5th wheel on utube.

you do not lose your truck bed with a fifth wheel. you would be amazed how much i can put in there while towing. in 20 years my 5er has never touched my truck bed. tip over? fix your contact area on your hitch, supseion on the trailer. as to over head my 5er is 12f 6 in high. never hut anything. but then i have been a class A driver for 40 years , so i kinda know what and how to drive. a fith wheel does not need a “fix” for safe towing. and in a panic stop the tt will try to pass you up or push you to the side of the rd. do to lifting up your rear end. a 5er adds weight to your trucks braking ability. snd does not need a “ fiz” to tow safely. but good on you for starting with a 3/4 ton. as 1.2 ton trucks are not ment for towing, or loading up.

It's called an equalizer...😄 It doesn't really do much to absorb shock and smooth out the rough roads... that is not their purpose. If you've ever seen video of these in action, you can see that they just simply rock back and forth to "equalize" (hence, the name) the movement of each set of leaf springs. Very minimal, but still noticeable improvement, depending on what your baseline was. The rubber bushings are just a slight upgrade, but the heavy duty shackles and wet bolts are always a good idea.

Sorry Jess just getting to watching this video. One comment I use same lights but I have switch to a outdoor magnetic self sicking. Found the 3m dosnt work well outside unless you use bathroom straps but those are much harder to find. Less then a year the command strips would just fail ti stick to the campers out side. I really want to find a suction cup system but yet found anything
@AdventureEndeavor15 күн бұрын
Ah good to know! Just the heat gets to them?
@TravelWithTheHs15 күн бұрын
It might be combination of heat and uv. So mine the 3m backing stayed on but the velcro separated from the back. So the velcro is glued to the 3m part you attach the wall.

Coming from someone that is born and raised in Oregon and still lives in Oregon and goes to the Oregon dunes to sand camp on the regular truck should be 10PSI trailer should be at 12 PSI essentially if you don’t air down your trailer, you are pulling a boat anchor.

My favorite spot in WA is Colchuck. Been there 12 times and each time has been a different experience. So beautiful. IMO you missed out going to the super touristy restaurants. Icicle brewery is my #1 spot for a good beer and pretzel. Not German themed but it’s named after the River at the Colchuck trailhead and the beers are named after places in the enchantments or outdoor activities. For food we usually hit the hotdog place in the middle of town which is a little bit touristy but honestly has great food for not too expensive. Lastly the bourbon maple latte at J5 is a must! In my latest full length adventure video we stay at Colchuck for 3 days and hit all the food and beer spots in the vid. The trip was a blast! I am currently editing a trip from the following summer where we went up the back side and stayed at upper snow lake… it was pretty memorable too!
