I live on the road out of a minivan, i follow the rules. When people stay in one spot creating encampments..its infuriating. I avoid a lot of areas where people can pack in. It limits where i can stay. It sucks for everyone. Colorado wouldn't put up with this stuff...so head there if you need a nice getaway.

Hello, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life. He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?

Thanks for your video. I have the same frustrations with the management of our public lands. I also do some clean up at sites - sometimes it’s micro trash (which accumulates when you actually look for it), but many times it is big trash. I understand the frustration of public land management, but I also realize the large areas of the land. There are not enough personnel to adequately cover these huge areas. There are also a high cost of removing large trash (like trailers and rvs) and disposal of the trash. From my understanding, not all individuals that work for the BLM or FS have the law enforcement training necessary to safely confront individuals who don’t believe they have to follow the rules, especially if there is no backup. I agree that there seems to be a double standard, but it just might be the difference between someone who follows the rules and those that do not. Do I wish everyone would follow the rules, YES. But that is not the reality. My approach is to do what I can to keep an area clean and safe. And when I can, I participate in volunteer clean up opportunities.
@AdventureEndeavor4 күн бұрын
We agree with most of your points. We clean up what we can and make these videos to spread awareness. We hope that BLM or NFS will see these videos and contact us to work together. We believe the private sector has money and is willing to help, they just have to be asked.

Let’s say they do where’s all his crap gonna be still gonna be out in the desert police aren’t gonna go out there and clean it up every city in this country now it’s filled with homeless people many of them have got hundreds of citations. They don’t pay it. Citations are for people who follow the rules most of the time and sometimes don’t not for people who flipped their finger up in the air at everything. How do we deal with that as a as a as a civilization as a community you tell me you tell me what we should do.

This land is your land, this land is my land……no it’s not. It’s closed 😢 Government overreach as usual. The government has the money but it’s not spent on us here and this is what happens. It’s easier to close an area then to enforce the laws. You are right about Venice beach and don’t you park there. I was there in the late 80’s and it was great, now not so much. I’ll be skipping over that area. I’ve seen organizations do clean ups but not often. I agree the BLM or Az trust could seek volunteers, they should. Not really the land of the free anymore 😢
@AdventureEndeavor5 күн бұрын
The first part of your comment was hilarious but also sad. It's definitely over reach. Seems like it just keeps getting worse
@cirrus820travelers95 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing this issue! Seeing all the "Squatters" destroying and abusing rules is only getting worse. Once an area is closed, it remains closed indefinitely. Often times, gov't solutions are just to close completely and "allow restoration". Many reasons exist about funding, gov't leaders (past, present & future!) in Washington see agencies with "surplus funds" as their personal banks accounts for their budget shortfalls & mismanagement. One previous administration stole BLM & USDA funds for some wall & a parade. Now, these agencies have NO reserves they use for cleaning up and replacing signage. All we can do is pick up the crap and move along. Always making our camp spots cleaner than we find them! Rant anytime guys. See you in Tampa?
@AdventureEndeavor5 күн бұрын
Yeah it's a bummer.... We will not be in Tampa this year...

"Some wall" and "a parade"? Can you be more specific? The government has quietly been selling off BLM land and I'd love to know who is buying it and where the money is going.

You neglect to mention, your total length is longer with a TT. if you have a 35' TT, your total length is longer than if you pull a 35' 5th wheel. It also increases the distance between truck axles & trailer axles, so you need a bigger swing for a TT. 5th wheels are much more stable in crosswinds & interstate traffic. I used to be an RV delivery driver, picking both styles up at the factory & going to the dealers. I had a dually diesel pickup with a HD 5th wheel & a wd bumper hitch setup. I very much preferred hauling 5th wheels. Much more stable & no sway when trucks pass.

Yeah you are right! We actually are back in a 5th wheel again!

All true. But its not going to get fixed by anybody. All the places you named including Pismo are the example of what will happen. Clean it up, or close the site, well the easy course for the govt is to obviously close it down. They dont want to police anything. Its the most lazy and risk avoidant group there is. And people in general are not going to get better. History proves that greed and selfishness rules the majority, thats why there are homeless people there in the first place. But Im glad you guys care and some others do too.

Wow! Very upsetting video. I did see your "rant" quite a while ago about trash being left behind by the worst among us, but the issue you raised in this video is a much bigger deal. And if anyone in the comments complains about your bringing some light to this issue, just ignore them, you're doing a good thing, and thank you. I could almost hear the pain in both of your voices about this issue, and I certainly understand it. I have lived in AZ since 1975 and it's really upsetting to hear how bad this has become. I wish we could boondock but when we bought our rig in 2018 we knew NOTHING, and have a hybrid with small tanks and, of course, it has those tents, front and back. We don't feel it's safe to boondock in it and we would run out of room in our tanks. Still, even though we don't boondock ourselves (someday we will), I feel terrible to hear things have gotten this bad. We live in North Scottsdale and we do, at times, see tents in the state land near our home, just in the last few years. We have called to report these a couple of times. It's also terrible to hear (from a prior video) what's happening in the beautiful Sedona area, which is a national treasure in my book. We've lived in the North Scottsdale area for 24 years and we just started noticing tents in the nearby state land in the last few years. I'm going to call our local agencies to talk about this issue, but I don't pretend this is going to help anything, necessarily. If there is anything we (my wife and I) can do to help fix this, we would be glad to do it, I'm just not sure what that might be. If you have any ideas on what steps all of us can take to at least make things better, please let me know. We've been subscribers for many years, keep up the good work.
