Beautiful work, and really informative video showing the paints / thinners etc used. Could I ask which airbrush you used on this model ?

Thank you all for your feedback. Airbrush - AirCobra by AMMO.

I stopped building models back when glue only came in a tube and dinosaurs roamed the earth. This has convinced me to not start back up.

Thank you all for your feedback. I am very sorry that my models have put you off building kits. My intention is the exact opposite. To attract as many people as possible to building models and inspire them a little. Try again...

@@DetailsScaleModels It was a joke - I built them all and have moved on. And the idea of having to blend the correct color red for the throttle knob on a Sturmovik is well beyond my point of diminishing return.

With the pilot figure it looks like a toy.....pilots should never be included in kits.....they kill all your work......IMHO

Vorrei modellare come te.

Hi Josef great build as usual. Sry but off topic but on your wildcat build what were the little white connectors you used on the aerial wire please? Thanks Scott
@DetailsScaleModelsАй бұрын
Thank you all for your feedback. They are tubes that I make from plastic ear cleaning brushes. I heat the brushes over a candle and carefully pull them out to the desired diameter. This creates a weak tube. I show the process in several videos.
@scottacutt2939Ай бұрын
Thanks I’ll check it out . Sadly the ear buds now are all paper will have to try find plastic ones !

Why didn’t you buy 61114 kit? That’s the original A with beaver tail
@DetailsScaleModelsАй бұрын
Kit 61114 doesn't have the early version F-14A either. The kit contains parts only for the middle product line of version A. I think the early version was only released by Hasegawa in a limited edition.

Haven't tried these accessories yet, however, a few builds away from a 1/32 build and want to try them, what kind of glue do you use, Great brand, Happy Modeling.
@DetailsScaleModelsАй бұрын
I use different types of instant glue. From ordinary artificial nail glues to special ones. Depending on what I have on hand...

@@DetailsScaleModels very interesting, I'm always amazed at how some materials have crossover applications into modeling, like the floor shine coating for gloss finishes Thanks.
@DetailsScaleModelsАй бұрын
I definitely do not use "Future" floor varnish. Super Clear III varnish from GSI (GX100) has much better properties But I sure do use nail files….

Very true! How many more 109's , 51's, spits? It's all the same aircraft. Not just eduard but other manufacturers . They are missing out on the holden age of aviation. Ford tri motors, staggering, Electras..... Haven't seen general aviation either. You can find them , mostly in resin, but who really wants to go thru that trouble. Please don't get me wrong I love WW2 birds but, how manyof the same aircraft can you possibly build?.

You are a genius modeler my friend! Though whoever came up with this color scheme was probably a communist subversive. Imagine camouflaging a plane as a flying banana trying to hide it from the enemy!
