Mark, II am really impressed with your creative talents. Most of my children were blessed with the talent to draw and create different things. They definitely got it from their Mother because I evidently skipped class when they were handing out artistic talents. When I draw stick people everyone will ask me what it is. I never attended drag races before but maybe someday. Thank you for bringing us along to at least witness it on video. Prayers and Abundant Blessings to you and yours, Amen! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✝🛐❤

That looked like a lot off fun, I agree the sound is really hard to describe, it is pretty amazing. My Son knows a guy that lives next to BIR race track. They give them free tickets, I think to keep the peace. He shared some tickets with my Son. We sat right by the christmas tree and when they hit the peddle that is just insane. The day was pretty fun until I hit the deer with the bike on the way home. I was pretty short on fun for a long time. I went to my favorite ice cream stop yesterday Itchy. It's somewhere over 100 miles away. The last 25 miles is all twisties. On the way back I got into some light rain. I stopped for a burger in the town on the end of the twisties. I checked the radar and it was time to bug out. Nothing but green coming down. Lets just say I was doing Freeway speeds in a light rain for the next 50 miles. Just staying ahead of the heavy stuff. Came into a town just out of the rain. Cars pulled over and the siren was blowing, it was still time to boogy. I made it home and the wife and I was sitting on the porch when it caught up to me. It got pretty wild, nice to be home because that would have been pretty ugly. My Brother and Sisters were at our farm about 7 miles away. My Brother took a picture of a hail stone almost as big as the palm of his hand. It was kind of flat, looked like a glazed donut. The storm tore up some of the towns around. The wife and I took a drive today Itchy to look at the damage from a tornado in a town about 20 miles away. I never seen so many people doing yard work on a Sunday. I know Itchy you don't have a problem with riding in a little rain but when you roll in to town and the siren is blowing that will get your attention. A little long but I thought you might find it interesting. Ride safe, stay dry.

i was at a truck stop the guy was driving a rig hauling a truck ( the guy over a coffee said it might be the fastest truck in the world i said why it run on jet fuel it got jet engine in it like 3 of them! ) the cycles there 4 cylinder top-fuel motor cycles the engine a japan engine design but backward head & supercharger one racer quit when i stopped racing in early 1980's i was sick & the team folded too & the other guy was terry Vance he quit top fuel & went with vance & Henies racing teams and parts place! one guy was racing the cycles & the guy building the engine was the henies part! it was like in early 50's in nascar the guy owner mercury boat motors went racing nascar went down dodge dealer I want this car & engines there team did some stuff ( it they had 5 cars in race your racing for 6 place all cars were that good) at the end a wreck happen he just quit closed his shop up & quit went back to marine engines and boat stuff! well vance & heines are selling there engine & parts to other racers or be forced out! ok one guy from nascar said in the early 50's they took one or 2 of the mercury guys car apart & ended up putting back together they were legal car's ! like the 1985 Thunderbird of the coors car they made the temp-lets for cars tighter in 1986 in one race in 1985 he was over 5 miles behind the field broke oil fitting he unlaps him self 2 times and won the race! with no yellow flags! in less then 100 laps they tore that car apart too!

Mark, Gettin' out on the road and Ride Free. Good for you. We've had a lot of hot weather & potential for Thunder, Lightning, Heavy Downpours. Some of my riding friends prefer not to go when it's that hot. So what do I do? I get out on the road & Ride. But there's been those big black clouds filled with tons of rain ready to let loose at any moment. I'm constantly checking radar, and how close on the horizon those threatening clouds are. That's what I saw as I stopped for a fish sandwich in Ipswich 35 miles from my house. As I finished up & ready to hop back on the bike, we got that downpour, not entirely unexpected tho. There were about 8 other bikers coincidently at the tavern with the same look on their faces. Are we gonna Ride in that wet stuff or just wait it out. Typical as a Summer storm is, we all waited it out and sure enough, it ended in about 15 minits. I just let the wind do its job to dry my Bike off and it was no big deal. Thanks for your continued varied content vids. .

When it came to why you ride, when you ride, and the adverse weather conditions you find yourself in when your riding ( lightning dancing on the pavement in front of you in a thunderstorm ), hail situations and the snow, you just handle it back in the day. 68, retired, fairweather I can handle that too. Not a bad word after all. 50 yrs. of riding, an i still haven't done a ride on a harley, and there were some classics in those easyrider spreads. Current ride 98 VL 1500 Intruder, just a Waterhouse and armourall soap, and she's ready to ride.

As for the riding in the rain goes. When I was young all I had to ribe was bikes, and I rode no matter what. I was an only child and I couldn;t handle being alone. Hot, cold, rain and sleet. I was out the door and gone most of the time. So, I put in my time on wet even icy roads and all the rest thay comes with it. It hasn't been that long since It poured down on us. We had to pull over give it a minute, and go again. But I don't leave the house in it.

I agree that to a biker his motorcycle is the love of his life, and he becomes one with it. To the motorcycle enthusiast the bike is just a machine. Like you say the world is big enough for all. RIDE ON

Harley Davidson the company, under the leadership of today, is on the verge of being everything old school bikers used to hate. I don't use this term much ,but HD has gone woke. I'm sure there's a lot of riders today that hate them for it. On the other hand. They're putting out some of the best bikes ever in their history.Like ole Bob Dylan said. Times they are a changing

Mark, you use too ride 600+ miles a day ( at times) on your softail evo fatboy? Ya? I have a 1998 fatboy. And other bikes. A couple evo dressers. Recently purchased a 2016 streetglide 103ci , my first twin cam bike. Riding long distance on a evo softail long distance is a very different experience than riding a evo dresser. Again, riding the late model twin cam dresser is a vastly different ride than the evo dressers. I would liken riding the evo softail to riding a hardtail pan or shovel before ever relating it to a rubber mount bike. The evo softail would be my last choice for long distance if I'd even be willing to do it. If it was my only bike it would probably be a different story I guess. Great video Mark. Thanks for everything.

Best not to be Harley snob 😊, it doesn’t matter to me what friends or acquaintances ride it’s all about the adventure, enjoyment, and being with people that share a common interest. “Hardcore” so many definitions to what that really is, personally I don’t like riding in the rain even pillion, prefer a beautiful sunny day. 🙏🏻
@loujames61633 күн бұрын
Itchy dude you have logged more miles and in all kinds of conditions for more years than most and to still be riding to this day with no sign of slowing down is almost legendary so ol' gray beard I'd say to those that think your not a biker here's a middle finger salute they could only hope to ride as long and survive the experiences of the roads you've traveled.Anybody that questions you about riding motorcycles is probably a very low IQ individual and doesn't know which end of a screw driver to use.
