I only see stereotypes, it does not speak of an ancient or national culture.

La última or el último are technically both okay, but especially in Andalucía... you would say la última (feminine) when most of the people are women (example at the market) or el último elsewhere... Nowadays with inclusive language you may hear asking for both " quién es el último o la última?"

I'm pretty much disappointed, cause I expected you actually did a real bashing of Galicia. Unfortunately you didn't. I hope that your video doesn't get watched often. 1983 was the first year we visited Galicia. We still do it. 41 years now, hopefully no more tourists will come now.😉

Just back from Galicia. We love seafood. One thing we noticed is that it seems that they have octopus (pulpo) and then other seafood, whatver that is, because pulpo is such a humungous opart of the seafood list there you dont see a lot else (though it's there...). It just seemed a little one dimensional. In Portugal, similar, but big on cod (I also love cod).

I'm Galician, and i have to correct you: When you say ''Coruña'' youre saying sometimes 'Corruña'' and with ''Fisterra'' you say 'Fistera' Omly with RR is when you go like a roar or an motor, not with one R alone You have them in to opposite place. Coruña later on the video you say it right, still.. Fisterra has the double RR so is there where you go rrrrrrr xD By the way, the small salty fishes are Anchoas

@ElyceBehrsin I know how you think I would say it. But my english is better than many Spanish. Still, it would not sound British but more US like. A Spanish would say it how its writed. "Melbourne" with each vocal pronunciated. Mel Bo ur ne. While i pronunciate it like "MelBurn"

Northerners are more entrepreneurial, proper, yet pretentious. Southerners are more economic, laid back, yet genuine. Northerners place more emphasis on decadence due to its proximity to France, while southerners place more emphasis on tradition due to resisting moorish rule.

Would like to know who is always late. What region are you speaking about ? At my region arriving on time is the normal behaviour. Most "anglos" only know our south and east coasts and think they know Spain. The real country is inland guys not at those prefabricated places for tourists where even a Paella has nothing to do with a real one.
@ElyceBehrsin17 күн бұрын
I have lived in Andalusia, Cantabria and Catalunya, and I would say that compared to Australia where you always arrive five minutes early, everyone in Spain is late except perhaps the Cantabrians :)
@ionaguirre17 күн бұрын
@ElyceBehrsin Nothern halve of Spain in general gets always on time. For us that "mediterranean" use of being always late, results even more annoying than for you. And the fact that they see it as normal, is even more disturbing. Anyway, everywhere there are good and bad things 😚

Sweaters ARE a girl's best friend babe. Why they dont like the English?? No country wants arrogant people who refuse to adapt to the culture It may well be down to resentment over Gibraltar. Why are Spaniards sooooo God-damn noisy?? They seem completely immune to it and dont even notice that you're yelling just to communicate....can you turn it down Primo?? I'm just trying to adapt. Vale vale amigo!!!
@justinianorigoberto79735 ай бұрын
I'm going to tell you why we don't like the English (and the French)... it's something historical. We have always been battling, or warring against each other... as blas de lezo said... a Spaniard always has to urinate looking at England.) and now contemporary...it is because you already know how the British behave on our shores...a very noisy minority...and the expatriated British (a majority) have no interest in learning our language and our customs, they are like in ghettos. dealing only with expatriates.. greetings

I grew up in El Ferrol and you should visitt with great shrip building history , ship yards and museums plus 2 Military Defense Castes. at the entrance of the Ria. The beaches to the N are breath taking: Cobas, Doninos, St Comba ..Puente de Eume with la Playa de Cabanas y Seselle worth for your dogs to run and swim safely . The Monasrerio de Caveiro is on its way to Puente de Eume ..with lots of Middle Ages history. There.are great Monasteries you can visit and stay for the night ..also Paradores worth sharing their history in Galicia .. and today made as national hostels ❤ that support their local products and offer great dishes as well . El Ferrol had a lot of internationa merchant l ships docking at its Harbour and British Engeneers also helped in their shipyards ..WeI learnt English as children at their local London Instifute run by a British family, Scotish :) Loved your style and description of Galicia in this video .. Thank YOU so so much. Cruises should stop in El Ferrol.. tell everyone .. the economy needs it and is worth it ❤❤
