Honestly, I find the Flow NX2 better than the Nidecker Supermatic. NX2 offers far more advantages than the Supermatics. If you do the research (pro's & con's) and try both out, you'll come to the same conclusion. The Supermatics are aggressively promoted by Nidecker and the NX2's are not promoted at all

All my mentors kept an old pair of “rock skis” for the early season.
@DiViNiTY133711 күн бұрын
At 11.20 it looks like your toe-strap is very loose (it's literally hanging freely in the air) so maybe you didn't get the foot in properly that time or you're overcompensating with a very tight rear strap? Also looks like you're pressing the lever down with your thumb, if you use your palm on the other hand it could be a bit easier. Nevertheless, good review and showcasing of how quick and simple it is to get into the binding. If you need to loosen the ratchet one or two notches to get out it's still a significantly faster system than undoing both the straps entirely and re-doing them at the top. Maybe not the biggest deal to some but my local resort is only about 100m tall with a park line halfway down the middle so on a given day I'll strap in and out probably 30-40 times. These would be a gamechanger!

Video is amazing I haven't gotten up yet this season unfortunately. One piece of advice I will say to spin faster so you can land easier, is if you open up your body to the front pulling your left hand back right before you start going up the transition carving into the jump. Right as you jump punching the back or left hand over your body while rotatyouyou will spin alot faster making 3's 5's on little side hits alot easier. Also looking over shoulder and all that jazz. The front three is so much easier for most because they're hand already starts back letting you just throw that punch. Good luck, sick riding hope this long a$$ speech was helpful 😊

@@BoredProgression Please do more videos like this. I watch most snowboard KZbinrs with the sound off and only to do movement analysis on their riding and to see what incorrect information they made up. I always forward through their usual ten minutes of blabbering about nothing to the last minute or two where they’re pretending to be great riders on green runs. It’s ridiculous. Where are the synch turns, dynamic carving with edge angle high enough to chip the top sheet, bumps, race gates, rhythm, demo teams? There’s so much more to snowboarding. Thank you.

@BoredProgression11 күн бұрын
You can, when both resorts are fully open with the solbright connection gates open. It’s a bit of a traverse to the solitude side and expert terrain to get to the Brighton side, but it can be done.

Why wouldn’t they put the lift going up to the top of James peak? And there’s no lift in the expanded terrain?? I’m a little confused…

They want James to still be a little bit of a challenge to get to. That might hopefully keep it from getting too tracked out. 🤷♂️ And they will eventually put a lift in DMI, but not this season.
