This film is packed with wonderful music cues and motifs by Williams - beyond the obvious well-known ones - like at 3:18. It's genuinely one of the most perfectly scored films ever made.

Such a great scene for a villain, but he was wasted after that. He hardly had anything to do. Except for getting his face melted of course.

Ron Lacey was a real chameleon. He was the baby-eating bishop of Bath and Wells in "Blackadder", and a thief in "Porridge".

I first read the novel. The following week I saw the FBFO, on opening weekend. And I still have the full page ad from The NY Times. Thank you Mr. John Hughes, 92.7 WLIR-FM and Mr. Ian Copeland for introducing (The) New Wave into NY, then to America. We didn't too shabby, in The Cold War after all!

In the history of the theatre/film? There will only be ONE Freaking Allison Janney ! I watch every performance ...ALWAYS amazed by how much I totally BELIEVE her/ the character she portrays.....I so wish? Phillip Seymour Hoffman had lived to sahre screen with her.....I could have believed the whole story, plot ..portrayals .....most of the time now? (Dicaprio, Pitt , etc) I lose the magic seeing those names on the marquee mid performance .......( Dicaprio ? HAD me too ...pre Gatsby) .....Janney? I NEVER get the "reals" in my feels of her performance

no wonder we all thought Mark was cool when we were younger, the character is supposed to be a man-child and groomers are exactly like that, immature but at the same time malicious and manipulative
