I was looking for something like this for the Winnebago Travato’s kitchen and bathroom faucets. Winnebago just doesn’t seem to want to update the faucet fixtures but I’m use to a sprayer to rinse things off. I’m hoping this will work. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I load my Lectric e-bikes on my Swagman E-Spec by pulling the bike somewhat past the end of the rack, then I engage the rear wheel brake, pull back on the handlebars which lifts front tire,. I then swing the front tire over into it's tray on the bike rack. I then grab the rear luggage rack and lift the rear of the bike again swinging the tire over into it's tray on the bike rack. If it's the front bike, I then just transfer it to the forward trays, lift the center bar, and proceed to secure it down. I then just repeat with the second bike. This way I'm never lifting the entire weight of the bike.

I'm not sure if I told you already but we went on a 10,000 mile 3 month long trip February - April with several stops from Northern California down south and along the coast to Key West Florida then up to North Carolina. It was a great trip and best of all the weather was great and it only rained a couple times in the evenings for a couple hours. Soon after we got home they all started getting hit with bad weather, lucky us and good planning by my wife (I just drive :) ). We pretty much camp year round every two weeks for 3 nights but we are home for a month trying to catch up on projects around the house.

@thetraveltrailerguy 14 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and taking the time to ask your question. I thought about what you mentioned installing the tape under the trim but went the route of taping over the gutter & vinyl trim (The trim breaks down and cracks from sun damage every few years). By applying the tape over the vinyl trim it protects it from the elements and never has to be replaced again. Also applying the tape over the top of the gutter trim makes sure no water gets under it. I purchased a 2022 Pioneer Puma 31RLQS from Bill Plemmons RV in Raleigh NC in 2021 and over this last weekend we were driving from Wilson NC to Virginia Beach, VA for a vacation ( Date Range September 6th thru September 9th 2024) and 4 of the travel trailer tires exploded , tire pressure was checked prior and was at correct Manufacturers Tire Pressure and a tire inspection was completed. I have spent almost $1500 in roadside service charges and with the purchase of 5 brand new tires (Including the spare) and I just wanted to find out the tire brand that was used on this model just to verify that is reflected the tires that were placed on my unit. I appreciate your help with this matter, I am working on getting estimates to complete the repairs to the damaged fenders on both sides. Thanks for any feedback or assistance with this matter.

I'm so sorry to hear about all your tires blowing and all the damage caused to your trailer? I am not familiar with what tires you had on your trailer, I did look up your trailer and saw that it is made by Forest River. They used to install Lionshead Castle Rock tires on a lot of Forest River built trailers but I think they stopped around 2020. You may have had a different tire, I would call the dealer you bought the trailer from to ask them if they know. Did you get any pictures of the tires that blew up? What tires did you replace them with? I have and so many others have had good luck with Goodyear Endurance Tires. Here's a video I made awhile back showing Castle Rock Tires that have blown up on the axles and even the spare tire that was never used. I was at a campground earlier this year and I heard a loud explosion sound come from the trailer next to us. I went over to check it out and found the spare tire blew apart at the tread. Here are pictures of all the tires people have shared that have blown. Feel free to watch the whole video if you like. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHWofXWOp9-fmqcsi=7ujBfpoBJi56Ba2b&t=386

Thanks for watching and taking the time to write. A few years later replaced the 4 - 6 volt lead acid batteries with 2 - 12 volt Battle Born 100 AH Lithium Batteries (I highly recommend going with Lithium batteries, they can be run down to 0%, recharge much faster than lead acid batteries, are a much lighter battery, and last many more years to) Here's the video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIncfZKaaJmtr5Ysi=t4uF-aXh4Txk_auF Watch this video also - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaSmmqmCg66te7Msi=9zZBqq7hPuE_69bh I hope this information is helpful, feel free to ask more questions if you like. Thank you for the great video. One question I’ve searched for and cannot find. I’m planning to reseal my entire roof using either Liquid Rubber or a similar product. I’m debating if I should seal the roof first and then apply EternaBond tape or tape it first and then apply the liquid rubber up to the tape edge.

You're welcome and thanks for watching and your question. I must be honest, I'm really sure how coating products stick to EternaBond Tape or how Eterna Bond would stick to coatings. I would recommend you contact Eterna Bond and ask them and the company that supplies or manufacture the coating to ask them for some correct answers. I've watched lots of videos on KZbin where people have applied coatings over Eterna Bond but have not seen follow up videos to see how it holds up. Here's a few videos you can watch that may be helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/amHUc2qNZ8-toZYsi=CwifgH0dqeyjIbEy kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIC7hqadpq-DjbMsi=-SqrXspXyjCCyuNM Here's what another viewer asked similar to yours and my answer: Viewer - "You did a fantastic job on that roof. I'm in the process of doing mine now and learned a few tricks. After taping with the Eternabond I will use a product call Tropi-cool to coat the TPO in between the tape. Would go over everything but from what I've been reading the coating will not adhere to the tape." My Reply - "Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment and share what you are doing. You're going to be really happy you taped the roof like so many others have done. I've also heard that Tropi-Cool will not stick to the tape so your plan should work."

WOW! I've been fighting the same dang problem on my 2021 Lance 2375. Found the same plate laying on the floor under the fridge. Additionally, the high limit often opens and causes the breaker on the furnace to flip and the led on the control board to flash once per 3 seconds. I'll repair as you did here and report back. Thanks so much for your vid!!

Thanks so much for watching and sharing. That's great you found the problem, it makes a big difference in airflow and properly heating. You might need to replace the high limit? I hope you can let me know how your repairs go. I'm happy you found me. www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos

@@thetraveltrailerguy It's funny that I'd found the knockout plate just before I found your video. I originally thought that it was part of the cold air return, then upon seeing the plate realized what you confirmed for me. I was able to run the furnace for a while last night after putting everything back together. Sadly, it overtemped again, though after several cycles. I have replaced the high limit switch. Not sure where I'll go from here. The symptom is the circuit breaker above the control board trips and I get a single flashing light on the control board.. More to come today or tomorrow. I may look at replacing the circuit breaker.

@@thetraveltrailerguy thanks again for the vids. I’ve been following My RV Works Channel for a while. I’ll check the others. Got another step closer today by replacing the reset switch above the control board. It would flip whenever the high limit would open. Now, when the high limit pops, the fan stays running, high limit will close and the furnace starts back up

I"m on my third seal ( trailer is a 2023) why is the seal leaking after only a few months. I think it"s time for a diffrent brand toilet. Also my seal is not going in that easy.
@thetraveltrailerguy
@thetraveltrailerguy Ай бұрын
What brand of seal are you replacing the failed one with? Some people have said they have used the less expensive one and it will leak, but switching to this one like I used in the video works. Dometic (385311658 Flush Ball Seal Kit - amzn.to/3cwDmux Here's some things you can do if you haven't done so already: 1) Remove the seal and examine very closely in the toilet where the seal seats in place and where it can rub against and make sure the surfaces are completely clean, if not water will leak by. Tip: push the pedal down while inspecting for debris, there could be stuff hiding in crevices that need to be cleaned. Then examine the gasket very closely to make sure it is smooth (If not wipe it down with a cloth and silicone grease to clean the area and hopefully smooth out the rubber). Also check for any damage on the seal 2) Check the Toilet Flush Ball amzn.to/3SVOzLc to make sure its clean and is aligned so it will seal against the rubber seal. 3) Make sure you using plenty of the silicone grease on the seal and reapplying it if you feel the seal is drying out? I hope you keep me posted on what you find after doing a close inspection. Thanks www.youtube.com/@thetraveltrailerguy/videos

I just had a thought. I have the same Coleman Mach AC that you have. It seems to me that the filter really only needs to be on the return air side (the foam barrier separates the intake from the ducting side). I know that on my home system, the filter is in the return side. The return air goes through the filter, into the plenum, into the ductwork, and out the vents into the rooms of the house. There's no filter on that side. Might the filter in the RV system, because it covers the ducting side, somewhat restrict the airflow into the RV? Or am I thinking too much? Thanks.

@thetraveltrailerguy Ай бұрын
@@jlantz3691 Yep but one thing you can do is remove the AC unit cover inside and use the silver tape to cover any leaks in this area and smooth out any transitions same goes for the any duct vents you may have, there may be foam insulation they used that needs smoothing out and there could be possible leaks in these areas. As you can see in the video link I sent you I did this in many locations. I hope this helps

CastleRocks are absolute JUNK! Forest River continues using China garbage and should be ASHAMED! Check your spare, you may get good tires then they'll sneak a crappy CastleRock in for your spare. We had a blowout and would have been safer on bicycle tires. What a JOKE CastleRock tires are. American made tires all the way!!!! China tires are CRAP! Our friend had two blowouts on the same trip. We take care of our tires and all three tires had low miles, were taken care of and we tow at 65 mph with a light load. Go figure! There should be a class action lawsuit.
