Is Your Blackstone or Suburban Griddle Unlevel? Here's an Easy Solution & Other Tips Worth Seeing

We use our Blackstone Griddle every time we camp and most of the time we place it on unlevel tables. Until doing this easy modification it was a chore leveling the Griddle. This modification can also be done on the Suburban Griddles. There are many reasons to make sure your Griddle is level as you will hear about in this video and you will see a couple other modifications you might want to do to your Griddle.

I've got the 17" Blackstone with hood and rear grease trap, always struggled with getting it level. That leg swap and wind deflector idea is pure genius! Thanks for sharing!

Hello Michael, I use Rustolum semi gloss black. It says on the can it’s made for painting plastic. It works great and lasts a long long time.

I use the Blackstone folding stand (for 17 and 22"). This has 4 independently adjustable legs that can be used to level on uneven terrain. We use the grill next to our RV so we can take advantage of the on-board propane.

I have the 22" Blackstone. Unfortunately, this mod doesn't work. The legs do not thread into the base...they pass through a hole and are held on by a nut.

That's a bummer, maybe the nuts can be soldered in place and then you can do this Mod?
