I'm Pretty fast... and heck yeah, I'm always down for a challenge! I still just think it's cool you've seen our show. Where in the country are you? Let's do an Edelbrock build-off. We can make that happen on this channel if you like, in person, or virtual. Whaddya think?

@@thegaragefathers496 We found your channel because my dad and I are looking for cool daddy daughter project builds to put on our Facebook page each week. in our search your channel came up. We dig your stuff. I live in Florida but I see that you’re in California. We’re coming out there in October I’d love to come by and see the shop. And yes if you have a couple of Edelbrock‘s lying around I will take on anyone for a build off!!! “Flex” 😂

@@rileysrebuilds435 Awesome, we'd love to have you visit... and it is SO ON! I've got the carbs and I'll get one of our sponsors onboard for a small winner's prize. I'll message you for details. It is exciting to have Riley's Rebuilds on our show, so cool! Oh, and P.S. You're going down- 🤣

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Back in my heyday , late sixties ; most guys wanted mid fifties chevys ; they were out there , and I never saw one that was not worked into a hotrod.......I found my first car in 1969 , a 55 Belair sedan........As time progressed , everyone agreed that to go fast we needed a lighter body ; so the little chevy II's became the choice car........I knew a guy that was sellin a granny car with the original six cylinder ; it was a good car to build because it had a clutch ; it also needed a passenger side door , so for 75 dollars the 65 sedan was mine.......I drove the oil burning six everywhere ; then I finally pulled the 327 with the scattershield and muncie out of my 55 chevy ; into the nova also went hooker fenderwell headers......I had the 2 door sedan with the fat wrap around roofline ; I also hated the ugly headlights and grill that came on the 1965 models ; so I found a complete 1964 setup and made the car mine........Back then the cars were death traps because very few knew how to upgrade the six cylinder brake system.........................Got a few cars today ; but I'd love to have a 1964 nova post car , and put a 6.2 LS into it.........I'm lucky to have three pictures of my first nova , the second was a 1969 ; also a granny six cyl. car..................
