I've purchased and tried this game a few times on a few different platforms, but always slept on it. I grew up playing the original MK's, SF 2's on SNES, stuck with the MK's moving over to PS and got into Tekken and Soul Calibur. Always loved fighting games, but with the MVC series I always felt like a deer in headlights. So many mechanics and so fast paced. I never knew what was going on and would just settle for button mashing. I'd learn some special attacks from the move list, but I could tell that there was a lot of other mechanics going on that I didn't understand. Got my first fight stick which should be showing up in the mail today or tomorrow and this game has been sitting in my steam library, so I'm gonna give it a legit shot and try to grasp an understanding of the mechanics that have been evading all these years.

Bummer we never got a continuation of this series. The team building guide would have been awesome, and characters guides even moreso. Probably one of the best fgc guide formats I've seen and it got cut short 😭
