True! I found there were a lot of situations in making the lists where a character could technically do something, but it either wasn't useful enough to be part of the gameplan, or wasn't used often enough to mention. Stuff like Nova/Iron Man being able to air plink for example. You CAN do it, but why? Great video, but a few things need to be corrected. 2:32 Morrigan doesn't have an 8-way air dash, and I think Dante and Vergil might need to be changed, as both of their Devil Trigger forms improves their mobility. 10:00 You don't need to go in a different direction or have an 8-way air dash to cancel air dashes into themselves since you can plink to keep going the same way. 11:23 You don't need to use 3 different attacks to plink; it works with just 2. I noticed that you mentioned the risk of a raw H coming out on a flubbed input, but plinking with just L and M will reduce that risk a bit.
@heefmvc Жыл бұрын
The Morrigan thing I just got wrong straight up. I didn’t include the improved mobility of DT for Vergil or Dante because it’s an enhanced state, not default. I mentioned the 8-way airdash thing because it is true that your can’t dash twice in the same direction without plinks. Thought I clarified that plinking lets you keep going the same way later on but I possibly didn’t. I mentioned the 3 different attacks to plink because that is objectively the best way to plink, as it gives you the throw option select on every dash. I really appreciate the feedback, I gotta make sure I’m more clear when I deliberately exclude some information for ease.

I am a complete shitter at this game and all I’ve done is play a few games of heralds and hero’s and played a ton of practice mode so i could be completely wrong about this but I’m pretty sure wolverine can’t plink dash. Whenever you mash his attack buttons he does that shitty claw spamming attack, and wave dashing is a little harder as him because of the same shitty claw spamming move but also because of the movement buff he has you could end up just using a bar for no reason. I have to put up with much more difficult movement in exchange for easy combo damage but thats a price I’m willing to pay for the time being.
@heefmvc2 жыл бұрын
So he still can, but to my understanding you can't do it as fast, because then that claw spamming attack will happen. The wavedashing with him also has to be done slow because of his speed up super. Yes your right a fight stick is a literally NEED but besides that man don't beat yourself up about, stop going into that mind set and think positive and grace yourself. You say you don't have the confidence to play ranked but u can do anything if u put your mind to it, plus you have to practice everything and learn the game first BEFORE U EVEN THINK ABOUT PLAYING RANKED like block strings, learning the terminology of the game, learning everything about your character and what your supposed to do, picking a really good team with assist to combo with, learning easy, normal, hard, very hard combos with each character on your team😭, rejump combos, teching dragon rushes, learning how to block probably, side switches, T.O.D's a.k.a touch of death, and learn all the mechanics of the game. Picking a good game is very important and another tip that I would give u is watch alot a pros, there is this dude name xuxes or something like that just type in dbz for and then that name and u should see him, pros know really good teams and I recommend watching my favorite pro and that's wawa because that dude is a BEAST😭
