@@strand-farm we just eat cucumbers with salt. cut into lettuce + tomatoes + lettuce leaves + sunflower oil or mayonnaise or sour cream. also, for the winter, cucumbers are salted and canned

the easier answer is to not let the grapes grow up a tree .. a fox years ago tried to eat those grapes high in a tree and came to the conclusion those grapes must be sour anyways and walked away

Totally agree! We are hoping to train some vines to make it easier for us to pick. The Grapes on our land now are wild & haven't been stewarded by anyone except nature itself :) -Ash

Great question! We use a Harvest Right freezer dryer. I will say there is an initial upfront cost of the appliance itself but with regular use, you should get your money back pretty quick. We can freezedry 5 dozen eggs in one batch which takes approx 24 hours depending on eggs size, etc. Have a blessed day :) -Ash

Great question & I was wondering the same. Seems like an obvious place to notice haha Unfortunately, some of our ticks are teeny tiny. So tiny that sometimes we have to take a photo and zoom in to see what it is. Although we do regular tick checks.. sometimes they still latch on. Thank goodness we have plantain on our side :) -Ash
