38 specia… or are you working your way up to 357 loads?

@@RRCameraMan I’ve managed to get to 38+p of most sorts. I can shoot those comfortably and accurately, minus the underwood 158gr +p hard cast. Those are quite painful. I’ve heard those shoot more like full power 357’s but I don’t know for certain. I’m hoping a lighter 357 load exists so I can work up more efficiently. If the underwood’s are where 38+p ends and 357 begins I may be at the end of my rope lol

@@revolverroundup yes it is unfortunate. Loved the old west out here but now it’s more like old Mexico. Can you believe there are no revolver gunsmiths or classes out here? There is all that stuff going on up north at the nra facility but that’s a hell of a drive just to be on the drug/human trafficking epicenter. You all should come down here and do a fun competition. I know one guy that’ll give you a run for your money if you’re willing to shoot blindfolded.

@@revolverroundup happy to! The revolver community is sadly getting smaller, its good to see a group who enjoys them train and improve all together, with positive supportive fellow competitors. Everyonr having fun, getting good training under some extra pressure of time clock/competition, makes you all better. 1st or last, everyone is better for it. At my ccw class I was the ONLY revolver.. when walking to range for test I asked "anyone else shooting a revolver today?" And got a mix of scoffs, laughs, and completely being ignored... should have seen their faces when I not only finished my course of fire/test first, but was the only 100% accuracy in all stages. In a quarter to half the time of the other ccw classmates, maybe 14-16 people.. hopefully seeing that Opened some of their minds 🤣🎯 my tiny little j frame humbled quite a few , could tell by how they talked to me before / after the test 😁👍🇺🇸 revolvers still have a place for ccw, its my prefered for sure, so I always enjoy any revolver content on youtube. Your channrl has been a gem, so much good wheel gun content!

Almost a little embarrassed to admit, but s&w 43c. Many knock the 22lr, but 8 shots of federal punch is no joke. I have tried a variety of guns. 9mm, 38 sp. 357 magnum, other 22 lr (ruger lcr 22, walther p22) .. tldr for my beat up osteo arthritis hands, my best shooting and fastest follow ups come with 43c. Larger calibers I feel it the whole day or two or three after so its harder to train often/as intensely as I'd like. So i'm sticking with my trusty 22! 8 spicy fed punches. They get 14 to 16 in in gel which meets fbi standards. Good enough for me 🙏🇺🇸🎯 ​@@revolverroundup
