Nice video! I just found your channel - watched Medora/Theodore Roosevelt NP video first (planning for that fall 2025). In Maine, we did your same 3 adventures, along with some more. Bubble Rock Trail was especially nice. We are doing Lassen Volcanic, Redwood and Crater Lake National Parks next month.

That’s awesome! We have a video up about our Crater Lake visit as well! We did Redwood around the same time too :). Thanks so much for watching!

The room turned out great. I have to say I had my doubts with the paneling. But it adds a nice bit of texture behind the headboard. Love the floor. A very relaxing vibe in there now. Great job!
@WorkinfortheWild7 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! The paneling was actually kind of a last minute idea. We were originally just going to cover up that creepy window with a curtain but decided the room needed some texture!

Planning to take a once in a lifetime trip to the East to see the Fall colors. Blue Ridge Parkway is on the list. Thanks for sharing what works and doesn't with a RV. We have a 26 ft RV that hubby struggles with parking. I am thinking it may be better to find a campground along the route and visit local sites. Then move along the route and find another campground and visit local sites. Would this be a logical approach. At past mid 60 years we want to be as stress free as possible. Enjoyed this video very much.
@WorkinfortheWild7 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! Yes, I think camping in one place and exploring without towing is probably a less stressful way to do it, and then tow to the next campground. We did see bigger rigs but I personally wouldn’t want to deal with parking anything over 20-22ft when space is so limited.

Wow! Are you looking for a new recruit? Chief appears to be outgoing and friendly. However, he is not fixed and his young adult personality is possessive, protective, and aggressive. He's extremely dominate and needs a male handler. His favorite activities are to walk, rough play, and run like the wind! Chief is an alpha creature and will bite when he's annoyed or mad. Chief is a Siberian Husky Stud. Anywhere you lay down a plastic sheet, he'll use it to do his potty business. He is pad trained. He understands commands and will wear a vest. Please help me rehome him! @chiefthesiberianhusky

Island Park is over rated. Next time try Lava Hot Springs! It's only about 50 miles from Pocatello and they have a swimming pool that professional high divers jump from three platforms On plateform is as high as a ten story building! Hot!? Forget it! The greatest innertube ride in Idaho goes through the center of Lava Hot Springs. A 4th of July like none I have ever seen anywhere, and still a bustling nightlike in Pocatello! All for way less money!! Free camping!? Absolutely! In Pebble creek, there are at least 50 spots,...all in deep timber ,high on a mountain ridge with great roads!! Done there!? Head for Glens ferry Idaho and thousand springs state park. Thousands of underground streams turn into waterfalls cascading down the side of lava rock cliffs! Cost!? It might cost you dinner, but you were going after that anyways.

I am not well balanced in my aesthetic opinions, as my late wife used to say, but I would have left at least one wall finished natural wood, preferably two walls. I love natural wood grains, but it would have been too much if all four walls had been varnished wood grain. Get the opinion of an interior decorator before listening to my advice, but most importantly, it is your house!! Do what you like!! Guests come and go. It is yours that you share with guests, especially as they stay over night!! How about a water front picture, or a deep forest picture hanging on one wall?
@WorkinfortheWild22 күн бұрын
We love natural wood but for some reason it just didn’t feel right in this space. But I see where you’re coming from!
