Good morning Thank you very much for your great videos!I bought this rifle in .25 with 45 joules I wanted to know your opinion on the h&n Sport grizzly .25 pellets In this rifle?Have a nice day.
@thebreakbarrelshow4 күн бұрын
@pierreallard8797 you are welcome. I don't get quite as much power from them. Around 25-27 fpe.. which is still pretty solid. They also grouped pretty well. I would give them a shot and see how they do for you. Also look on Amazon for a brand called hawk i.. I think it is.. they have a 33.95 gr that's made exactly like the old h&n sniper magnums. They shoot really well too. Also the cleanest pellets I've ever seen as well. Thanks for watching

@thebreakbarrelshowАй бұрын
@Adirondackairguns I bet your pellets will work better than you think. In my experience these particular guns really require learning the proper hold when shooting. These spring pistons really kick and the guns are light. Play around with different holds and that may be the key. Thanks for watching

@johnmueller155 I used to fo a lot of long range shooting with these games. It will easily shoot 400 plus. Of course it requires a lot of arch buy, it can be done and fairly accurate. But yeah , 50 to 150 it's very surprisingly accurate. Killer fun.

Did not know you could put a bipod on it, where did you get that bipod?
@thebreakbarrelshow2 ай бұрын
@Cyclejunkie618 once you get one , you will want it on all guns..lol.. Mine came from Amazon. Get whatever length picatinny rails ya want then find the side mount bipods. Use short but aggressive screws so they don't interfere with the 'break action ' I use super glue or an epoxy to help keeping the rails solid. Becareful because if you tighten too much , it may strip the threads. If a wood stock , ya got it make. Also one last tip , pat close attention to the angle of your rails. Try to get them as straight up as you can. A lot of stocks will cause a slight angle and once bipod is attached they are spread too wide which makes it also too low. . But yeah , you Wil love it

WHERE TO SET CROSSHAIRS AT 30 YARDS TO BE ZERO AT 50 YARDS using the gamo magnum .25 cal?
@thebreakbarrelshow3 ай бұрын
@coldsteel74 that's something I can't answer because it depends on many things. Get a large target, dial it in to say 30 yards. Move it back to 50 and see where you are hitting the target , then adjust up or down etc. It's easy once you start messing with it.

The Daisy shoots perfect whit the 13 grain slugs! I love them over my cheap ligth pallets. The penetration on cans&wood is unbelievebel😂 The gamo will ablitorate the targets im sure. How do you mount those rails for the bipods? I've got the .22 version and would love me some bipods for it. The rifle is quite huge 😅
@thebreakbarrelshow8 ай бұрын
The way I do it is find some aggressive thread screws. Only long enough to go through the picatinny rail and the stock. You don't want it too long and hitting anything. I also use a little tight bond 3 glue in the threads and on back of the rail for added strength. Now when attaching the rails, be sure to check the angle of the rails. Make sure they straight up and down or if anything pointed inwards a hair. The reason is , if angled outward even just a little , it will make your bipod legs really wide at base , then also too low. Also if the legs are really wide , then they are as strong and sturdy so do pay close attention to that. My other advice would be to be carefull to not try to OVER tightening your screws because they can strip out in polimar stocks. Wood stocks a breaze..lol. so once on and set just right then I believe you will love these babies on break barrels.. Let me know what you think ..lol Thanks for watching and reaching out !

Well I agree with you. My first 125 .25 cal I had to send back because at 25 no matter what I did , I could not get the barrel down to hit the target , then maybe 1000 rounds later the barrel shroud came loose and never could get it tight. Then out of the blue the gas piston went dead.. I also have two 135's 1 has been very strong and flawless but number 2 breech seal came apart after maybe 1500 rounds.. not a big deal. It's more of an annoyance..

Well as I thought it would be, with with a similar grain pellet BSA Max 21,75 I checked chrono almost 30 fte (footpounds of energy). Meaning that the airguns can shoot slugs just fine but unfortunately they aren't build for slugs... But any1 can shoot heave aerodynamic pellets which will do almost the same job for long distances. Lucky us that we live in an era that there are plenty of different pellets with sizes and weights that differ.
@thebreakbarrelshow9 ай бұрын
For sure. I know a lot of manufacturers kind of act like they can't improve break barrels anymore but, I don't think so. They can definitely improve barrels. Just like for pcp's. I would some really nice laminate stocks. Always engineer stronger pistons . Can improve recoil and breaking leverage.. I feel it's wide open stil
