I’ve shot about 50 rounds through my .30 cal. I have yet to maintain consistent accuracy, I’m very used to my flash .25 pcp that has nearly no recoil compared to the break barrel .30… the .30 is much more powerful though, the .26 embedds in the planks of wood I shoot and the .30 punches clean holes. Also the .25 takes 2-3 overlaps to penetrate a metal toolbox and the .30 punches through and almost through the backside in 1 shot. Hell of a cool pellet gun to play with as an adult after growing up with the “almighty”1100fps .177’s 20 years ago. 20 yards and closer, big time lethal

Holy sht i was NOT expecting this to be THAT accurate from that far away. I just ordered mine from HatsanUSA with some Vortex pellets, Nielsen Special slugs, and some Predators. I'm already super pumped and the video got me even more

Lol.. Look for the FX pellets , mine loves the 50.2 gr pellets. They are shaped like the old sniper magnums from H&N..

I have the 130(wood stock) and also the 130S, both in .30 caliber. Since I prefer open sights, I have to remove the cheek piece on the 130S since it's too high for open sights. The 130 with wood stock doesn't have that problem. The pressure on both can be increased, a little, since they have a fill prob hole.
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
Hows the recoil on the carnivore compared to the slightly lighter 130s ? I would think the heavier wood stock may have less recoil ? Yeah i need to pick up a pump soon. I have a few snipers that i think need a bit more air to bring them up to proper levels... Thanks for watching !
@handygent45 Жыл бұрын
@@thebreakbarrelshow I don't know the maximum fill for the piston. And yes, the 130 with the wood stock has less recoil. As for the 130S, or any plastic stock, I added lead weights, about 1 1/2 pounds inside the stock. For example, I have a Remington Tyrant in .177. It's too light and I couldn't keep a scope on the rail. After adding lead weight, it solved the problem. I melted old tire weights to form a rectangle block and glued it in place.
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
@@handygent45 i believe the max fil is 150 bar.. I've heard people going 200 bar.. Not sure how long that lasted. I've also lost a piston that was pure stock after a year and it felt no where near the 150 bar.

Great video. I have the Hatsan 125 sniper which is .22 but I honestly didn't know about this .30 cal breaker barrel. You've certainly peaked my interest. Added it to my list for a purchase soon.
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
I had the .22 and the .25 snipers for the longest time. Then my buddy bought one , and i was thinking its shoots too heavy pellets to be good. More like a gimmick. Then i shot it and instantly hooked . Shoulders great. You saw what the trigger potential is . And its accurate! I love it. Just needs hornets mad for it and would be scary..

Brutha you gotta try some powder coated 50gn pellets out that beast!!! You see a major jump in speed and I even got better accuracy too. Great video!!

Powder you say ?. Never once thought of powder. Im assuming not gun powder ?..lol.. Shooting the fx 50.2 gr actually has a flatter trajectory compared to the 44.75gr pellet at 50yrds.

I have two hatsans 135 , also an 125 model .i like both of them BUT the qouality control is terrible.in model 125 the plastic stock cracked after 500 rounds😢.and the qouatro trgger in both 135 cracked in less than 100 rounds.sorry but i cant afford it.
@thebreakbarrelshow8 ай бұрын
Well I agree with you. My first 125 .25 cal I had to send back because at 25 no matter what I did , I could not get the barrel down to hit the target , then maybe 1000 rounds later the barrel shroud came loose and never could get it tight. Then out of the blue the gas piston went dead.. I also have two 135's 1 has been very strong and flawless but number 2 breech seal came apart after maybe 1500 rounds.. not a big deal. It's more of an annoyance..

Best magnum in terms of weight, downrangepower, range/drop and accuracy is the 125 in .25 qe 🤙🏼 really love it. Also have a .30 with a lighter stock but the 125 .25 is lighter and nearly as powerful.. both tuned 34&38fpe

Pretty cool but I've tested these when they came out first. I found the .25 and .22 cal are actually better rifles with the Vortex gas piston because they put the exact same gas piston are in all three calibers. Therefore performance lacks a bit pushing a .30 cal 44.75 pellet. Little bit too big.

This gun or the gamo gr25 which one do you like better… also if you can show us how you have the rails on the guns outside and inside
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
Oh man , thats a tough one. It might be easier to list pros and cons.. Gamo .25 is easier to cock with its spring and longer barrel. The Gamo is lighter , but kinda makes it harder to shoot until you learn it. The hatsan .30 cal personally i like the feel of the stock. Adjustable cheek rest and butt pad extension make it really nice. Trigger on both are great. Replacing the screw on the gamo with a slightly longer one lets you dial it in to under 1 pound if you wanted.. i wouldnt though.. bump the gun and it could fire.. The quarto trigger can be dialed in at 2 lbs but just has that slightly odd trigger pull angle. Pull up instead of back.. power wise about identical.. you will get 30+ ft lbs from both.. hatsan though , you can pump the piston up higher but, reliability could be an issue with too much pressure.. Sorry for the long winded response. Hunting , Gamo .25 for sure. Target work and shorter range hunting . 40 yards in , the hatsan will be very nice as well...Both are crazy accurate

Where can I find tgis particular bipod? Also, how much accurate FPE is this 30 cal really puttin put?
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
I find the rails and side mount bipods on amazon.. Actually this .30 call is very consistent. Its about 30 fpe all across the board. From 44.75 gr to 52 gr..and accuracy is really good as well. You can get the trigger to as low a 1.5 lbs pull weight too. Heres a tip. When screwing in the trigger screw , dont screw it all the way down loke a gamo trigger to make it lighter. Its actually somewhere in the middle. I spent a whole tin of pellets to truly dial it in.. lol.. Thanks for watching !
@Guardian4080 Жыл бұрын
What type is that bipod and how did you attach it?
@thebreakbarrelshow Жыл бұрын
Its basically a sidemount type bipod legs. And i put pica tiny rails on it. They wont be super solid but use short aggressive screws and maybe an epoxy or what ever ya like and it will be fairly solid . You will like them.. all on amazon fairly cheap.

Yeah the recoil is pretty decent. Have you ran the fx pellets ? The .30 cal loves them. Especially the 50.2 gr.. For your .25 cal , look on amazon for a brand called hawki.. they have a pellet made like the old h&n sniper magnums.. its a 33.95 gr pellet but my 25's love them . Probably the cleanest most perfect made pellets ive seen.
