These ponds have potential but looked sad and gross. This place is supposed to be stocked by Idaho Fish and Game. It definitely didn't look like it when I took kids. Duck food dispensers out of food or broke. Lots of trash. Water 3 feet deep at the bottom of a hole with undersized yellow perch. Love your video and being a good Dad. Rexburg should clean this place up and make it more family/college kid friendly.

We have gone a few times in the last few weeks and fun to catch fish but definitely different from what I have seen. I am surprised the water levels get so low. Hopefully with run off it will fill up and give the fish some space

Get a black light and look at those ones you've cut open under it in a dark place, they should all show fluorescent properties. That's one of the really neat things about the rocks from Jack Rabbit Springs.

this lesson I have learned the hard way before. I keep my wind indicator in my bino harness to check. I feel like I check the wind quite often but I probably cut it too close and got swirled.
