As a man, I don’t see it as a huge deal. Is it something to be upset about? Maybe, depending on the context. I don’t do it anymore when I’m in a relationship because I KNOW it’s a big deal to women. But to me it means very little. Most of the time it’s not me signifying that I like the woman or have any intention with her. It’s just a simple button tap then I move on with my day and forget about it. I think men and women’s minds work very differently in this regard. Is it sketchy in some cases? Yes. It depends on the situation, person, and their intention. I feel like women really see an image as an extension of themselves. Which I think is problematic and can be the source of a lot of inner turmoil for anyone. It kind of is, but only to an extent. And I think you have to be able to detach yourself from it. But it’s hard in this society, especially for women. So I get where it comes from a little. But I think we’d all be better off if we took online life a little less seriously.

I was hoping you would say something to help me move on…. The only thing that’s helps is that he hasn’t really been a father at all to them. We get along to well. It’s toxic when we are not together and it’s amazing when we are together. He is my best friend and I just don’t wanna be with anyone and feel like they are on my space but he doesn’t feel like he is in my space. He just feels like he belongs in my space like the kids do. My child’s father hates me and I am the one who said I didn’t want the kid, but he guilt tripped me and told me he would hate me forever, has been disrespectful for years and threatening on the regular basis.. he even told me I wasn’t a problematic baby mom and I am not. But he still hates me 🤷🏽‍♀️. I don’t understand when he is the one who wanted our child. He moved away when she was 2 and never came back for a birthday, but he did take her for the summers.
