You have impressed me and gained a subscriber. Your ability to extrapolate Mr. Samuels' message from the delivery (which you'd think most could easily do, but you summed up the reasons why a lot can't brilliantly) along with your ability to articulate the destructive paradigms on both sides in a clear and understanding way is something our people need and I hope your platform reaches more people quickly.

We taught our daughters, "All men are male, not all males are men." Kevin Samuels did more good than bad. Personally, I pray black American women are able to make the adjustment necessary to succeed in the new world that is coming. Young men want and need wives and mothers. I doubt if you men, men of means, will sit around waiting for women to pull their heads out of the butts.

Hi Tim, thanks for watching! You are correct, they won't and they haven't. Black men are repositioning themselves in scenarios that offer more assurance of preserving their legacies. That can't happen with a woman who is unable to be coached or corrected.

@@OhThatsFallon A young lady that worked for our consulting firm approached my partners and me to ask for help with starting her own consulting firm. Of course, she came to the table with her resume/CV, a logical business model, a well-written business plan, and evidence of significant financial assets, etc. She was on it. Very proud of her effort. However, as awesomely prepared as she appeared on paper I wanted to know her WHY? Her vision and mission statement sounded like everyone else's. I wanted to know who she was as a person, what she represented, and what she was prepared to do for her clients and the people that would ultimately work for her. After asking her to explain her "WHY" I fully understood that her true motivation was about increasing and improving her lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with the desire to build wealth and access to a more luxurious lifestyle. At the end of the day, we are not interested in helping to grow and develop what we call lifestyle companies. Over the years, we have learned that when founders have a weak WHY and hyper-focuses on what they can extract (financial) from the business, they tend to be half-a$$ about their business. At any rate, we turned down her request and provided her feedback on why we turned her down. Needless to say, she was not happy and did not hear anything we shared with her that could help her. Within 2 months she terminated her position and was hired by a competing firm. The story above illustrates a mindset that can be applied to the relationship between black men and women. Again, 'all men are male, not all males are men!" That being said, women do the choosing. All a man can do is present himself as a viable option for marriage and family. Women must choose the right man from among all male suitors in their social-cultural environment. Put another way, women are 100% respond+sensible and account+able for choosing the best-qualified man that approaches them with the offer of marriage and family. The young lady mentioned above... she let us know of her interest. Why? Because we have the capability and resources she wanted access to. We liked what she brought to the table on paper, but we wanted to know WHY...we wanted to know why she wanted to transition from our W2 employee to a business owner and strategic partner. Yet, she could not articulate her WHY. Most everything she stated was about what starting her own consulting firm would do for 'her' and not our firm, her staff, employees, or their dependents (families). She was self-centered. When we offered her an alternative way of seeing things (a different angle), she interjected, rejected, and deflected. She was professional but clearly annoyed we did not agree with her position. When we informed her of our decision, we told her exactly why we turned her down. And, we offered her (again) the opportunity to continue dialog with us so that we could potentially work out an arrangement in the future. We even offered her the opportunity to meet with our Commercial Banker and CPA who would advise her independently. She turned our offer down, terminated her position months later, and has never attempted to contact us. Anyway, I am happy a woman, such as yourself, is trying to help our community of beautiful black women open their minds and hearts. My boys need and want women who desire to be wives and mothers. Peace

Kevin tried to fix the black love. Men now are at a point where it’s just passport time…we’ve checked out and many guys who followed after seeing how black women reacted at his passing are not interested in mending. ✈️

I'm crying at the airplane emoji! 😂 Kevin did an amazing job with getting Black women uncomfortable and calling us to the floor, just as a strong father would. Moving forward, Black women like myself are going to be instrumental in continuing the uncomfortable conversations around our hyper-masculinity, hyper-sexuality, deep-rooted insecurities, among other things. It's my mission to mend Black families.

Hi Dave, thanks for watching! I'll be honest and say I didn't do a full run of research regarding Black women in corporate America as it relates to income, titles, etc. My viewpoints are predicated on my own experience and experiences of many Black women I know. This is also why I said SOME Black women, not all. If you have any specifics on numbers regarding this, I would love to hear it!

I respect the way you approached the topic, but I disagree with much of your point of view on Kevin. My opinion, Kevin Samuels had no intention to fix black love, or be “brutally honest” with black women. I believe he just wanted to be brutal to black woman. Make money and be admired. If Kevin did believe in black family and wanted to promote black love, he would have reflected that in his own life with a black family, and would have had a relationship with his black daughter. I believe Kevin Samuels was angry at black women. He Did not think much of black women, and this was an Avenue for him to vent that frustration, and become famous, make money and be admired by men. Kevin was a band nerd growing up, and other boys called him feminine/gay. He has never been able to be a “guys guy”. The it guy in the locker room. This was his chance. Kevin went at men sometimes too. (He had to, it would have been to obvious had he not. 😉Again, very manipulative.) he’s never demonstrated the things he demanded from men in his own relationships. (IE Being a provider. His divorce docs were unearthed. He was a charlatan) I’m not saying that Kevin never made a good point or two. He did.🤷🏾‍♀️ (damn those broken clocks) I’m saying, BW with good discernment could tell Kevin was not good intentioned, and did not think much of BW collectively, he spoke over BW, and minimized our experiences, from our abuse experiences, to our desire to have financial freedom. Even the best most quality BW clearly didn’t have much value to Kevin. He was no different that Derrick Jaxn. They were opposite sides of the same coin. But didn’t get the same hate from black men. I wonder why?🤔 At minimum, Kevin was a manipulative emotionally abusive man, and it is clear why TWO of his wives left him. (One marriage barely lasted two years, before she ran for the hills, and the other one had to even pay him alimony for a period of time) At worst, Kevin was an opportunistic narcissist, who was able to manipulate a lot of people into thinking he was a credible person to seek counsel from. He was anti black and caused a great divide between black men and women. Kevin did more harm than good. I never wished Kevin death, but kevin needed to be de platformed. He was de platformed. Fortunately it was before he was able to get bigger, and cause more harm. But unfortunately, it was before he was able to fully be exposed & cancelled. So now his message still sits, and up for debate. Double Edged Sword.
