I grew up with the shrek films and love them they have fun villains in them

as a movie, the original is slightly better. as a sequel, it's one of the best i've ever seen.

Shrek 2 was also the first movie to be made by Dreamworks Animation after they split up into their own company. Because originally, Dreamworks Animation was Dreamworks Pictures animation subsidiary. But then when Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas came out and almost caused the company to go bankrupt, Dreamworks Animation was ultimately split apart from Dreamworks Pictures and became its own public trade studio. And Jeffrey Katzenberg left Dreamworks Pictures so he could go and manage Dreamworks Animation, thus leaving Steven Spielberg and David Geffen to manage Dreamworks Pictures all by themselves. But then in 2008, Geffen left Dreamworks, and thus Spielberg is the company's only remaining founder now.

This is my favorite film in the Shrek franchise

Sequel that’s better then original

Shrek 2 is a great sequel, just like the first Shrek movie.

Good Lord, I love this movie. In 1986, the teachers wheeled this in on a TV cart and we got to watch it in class. This and the Muppet Christmas Carol are my two favorite Christmas movies.

The biggest insult was how they portrayed Miyagi. Not wanting to fight is one thing, but letting criminals repeatedly attack and vandalize Daniel and the shop, and still not training Daniel is such a lazy plot contrivance to get Daniel into Cobra Kai. Miyagi comes off like an uncaring ass, singing as Daniel freaks out over what’s being done to them.

quintessential 90s action thriller! it's just brilliant how they manage to to pull it all off. I kind of like watching movies before technology became so dominant. Like yes it could help in certain ways but it wasn't an overpowered tool

Mike, what I would recommend is the Futurama movies like Bender’s Big Score, Beast with a Billion Backs, and Into The Wild Green Yonder. The Futurama movies are much better than the Simpsons movie and better written and more interesting if you’re a fan of Futurama.

A movie should’ve been made when The Simpsons was still at its peak.

I use to like it this film back then, but not anymore it is was pretty terrible so unfunny lame and nothing like tv show the simpsons. Should ended last season back then in 2000 through 2001. Because they killed off character so many times.

I liked the movie. I just wished it came out back when The Simpsons was still in its prime. They waited far too long to put out a movie. I much prefer Beavis and Butthead Do America and South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

I agree with you every word you said, this movie is fucking terrible. I was expecting it to be funny like Ghostbusters or Naked Gun. But nope. Plus this movie ripped off Wrongfully Accused when Bart drew on the wanted poster in the gas station and there was a wanted family like he drew on the wanted poster.

This is what I call a “made me blow a little air out of nose a few times” comedy.

Saw this in theatres at age 9. I did like this film but I wish this came out in 2000 after season 11 and been the finale to the series and not 2007

This was like Mars Attacks for me. When it was over I was like “Bruh…I paid to see a whole movie. How the hell is it over?” I think it needed another 15 minutes or so of jokes to feel complete.

Good message that as adults we become too political and competitive whereas Josh got promoted because he still had that innocent childhood sense of adventure fun playfulness and experimentation, not just a corporate drone.

Anyone else find it weird how little screen time they give to Josh’s Dad? I think we briefly see him in the fairground scene near that beginning. I also like the Judge Reinhold body swap comedy Vice Versa.

32:07, Michael didn’t kill many people in this movie. You mentioned the nurse, but he also killed the police officer Doug and began to “hulk up” while he killed Doug and Corey held Doug down. But yeah, Michael had only three kills and got his evil power back.
