Mike, what I would recommend is the Futurama movies like Bender’s Big Score, Beast with a Billion Backs, and Into The Wild Green Yonder. The Futurama movies are much better than the Simpsons movie and better written and more interesting if you’re a fan of Futurama.

Saw this in theatres at age 9. I did like this film but I wish this came out in 2000 after season 11 and been the finale to the series and not 2007

I remember seeing it on a bootleg DVD which was recorded in theaters And I remember seeing the intro for it of having homer show his butt spray painted by bart and then the menu screen pops up with the Simpsons movie theme

I liked the movie. I just wished it came out back when The Simpsons was still in its prime. They waited far too long to put out a movie. I much prefer Beavis and Butthead Do America and South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

The Simpsons Should have Ended with an New Years Special (December 31st 1999 January 1 2000) Making the End of an Era. But instead FOX just keep milking it till this day. Plus FOX Getting bought up by Bob Iger. But what do i know…. Nice Review Mike

@@Ribelin2000 Bob's Burgers has been on the air since 2011 and it gets better with each episode. Hell, the movie in 2022 helped build up on the show and it didn't degrade certain character or use SJW agenda shit like The Simpsons or Disney does.

I agree with you every word you said, this movie is fucking terrible. I was expecting it to be funny like Ghostbusters or Naked Gun. But nope. Plus this movie ripped off Wrongfully Accused when Bart drew on the wanted poster in the gas station and there was a wanted family like he drew on the wanted poster.

I use to like it this film back then, but not anymore it is was pretty terrible so unfunny lame and nothing like tv show the simpsons. Should ended last season back then in 2000 through 2001. Because they killed off character so many times.

So yeah as I was saying, I feel the same way about Homer that you do about Pee-Wee. In others, I'm not that enamored with the character of Homer Simpson. Homer's a character that I do personally feel works better in small doses, and... is pretty annoying at times. And that's sort of ironic because... I'm someone who loves the character of Goofy, and considers him one of my favorite cartoon fathers. But you see with Goofy, there's a certain quality to that character that... I personally felt wasn't as annoying. And plus, while Dan Castellaneta's not a bad dramatic voice actor by any means, I do personally think Bill Farmer is a lot better, in terms of showcasing the more... dramatic aspects of his character.
