As an hardware engineer it is a shame to buy something for 4k. I build my own and make it better than some mass build company.

Yes but for $4,000 look what you get I mean you should know personally man look at what you pay for and then have to upgrade and upgrade and upgrade and upgrade to actually get it to where you want it I've been following you since the beginning of my e-bike journey and the amount of money I wish I did not spend on a 48 volt system is a lot

This is not a good idea on any given day. as we all know, at any given time, you could have damaged your e-bike battery or there could be a faulty battery and the whole thing could just burst into flames........ oops. Some batteries have blowing up in people's living rooms, in elevators and while people have been writing them. It's kind of those one if things to think about while you're sitting next to your e-bike any closed and confined space

I take my ebike into the NYC subway sometimes and it’s not a good experience at all. Without any wheelchair/bike priority area inside the trains, it can get a bit crowded at times and you worry that someone might damage your bike.

Unfortunately, this method is so uncomfortable for me. I usually just ride my ebike from the Newark, NJ area all the way to Fort Lee, NJ and crossover to NYC via George Washington bridge Cyclist/Pedestrian ramp(Northwalk)

a 3000w motor does NOT draw more amperage than a 2000w motor, It depends on the load put on the motor not the wattage of the motor.

Thanks for the review. The rear suspension travel is 90mm, so 3.5 inches. It's setup more the way a traditional street cafe racer would be, not the way that a dirt bike, and as you point out, a Sur Ron would be. We were trying more to optimize for single/dual passenger riding and riding with cargo.

Good insights, and I have to agree with your impressions. 60 volts actually does have the advantage of being capable of higher discharge currents than a 72v of similar cell count, so I don't mind as long as it reaches it's speed targets. I DO like that the battery is low, and that alone makes me prefer this over the Onyx RCR for handling reasons. The RCR is faster, but then there's the Spark Cycleworks Javelin which is faster and handles amazing. It's so stable that it doesn't even feel like you're going 70mph.

I would have liked to have seen a choice for a bigger frame size similar to how Ristretto offers 2 sizes. I have a juiced bikes hyperscrambler 2 which is a little bigger than this bike. I feel like my bike could use a little more distance between the seat to pedals. (I’m 6’ 3”). Everything else about the Lyric bike is great. I might even look into buying one after they get all the first batches out and actually have them in stock and ready to ship.

So you have to spend $3000 to get a suspension. And then spend more after you get it. Total ripoff on the seat situation and suspension. I get put one heck of a racing suspension for about $3,000 on my car too. The difference, much more weight, and 4 tires not too. Why bike suspension and seat so expensive?

Gasoline powered combustion engines, can theoretically run creating without pollution. 4 stroke engines anyway. 2 stroke, nope can do. But that tech isn't offered to the public? Ever think why? Probably because it would actually greatly benefit people and the earth if you did. It's our money, we should demand more. It's ridiculous that we as humans have to live with the attitude : "2 out of 3 ain't bad".Ain't bad ain't good either.

E-bikes are only worth it in the US otherwise they are way more expensive than gas-powered bikes, so sorry but e-bikes are not worth it, especially for the price minus the range you are left with a costly piece of ....... that can't go too far compared to a gas-powered bike which will cost you only half the price of an electric Bike

There is a cargo system for the bike. We have a rear rack system with pannier rails to hang bags and add boxes/trunks. Our rack system will hold up to 100lbs on this bike.

2024 so far has been a great year for new and/or updated entries to the e-bike space. Browsing through the comments below, I'm strongly considering purchasing this, and can only think of the Spark Cycleworks Brute as a strong alternative. Looking at a few specs for the Lyric Graffiti X vs Spark Cycleworks Brute Motor: 3000w - 7200w vs 4000w (couldn't find the peak) Battery: 60V 40ah vs 72V 30ah Controller: 60V 80a vs 72V 100a Brakes: Magura 4-piston hydraulic vs motorcycle specific I was fortunate enough to check out the Lyric Graffiti X in Redondo Beach, CA in-person the other weekend and it is simply amazing. It appears well built/solid and refined, just like the regular Graffiti but obviously with much more capable and improved specs. Definitely at the top of my list along with the Brute, despite the Brute's heftier price tag (but with higher specs). I could be mistaken, but when I spoke to Andi from Lyric Cycles, she mentioned the carbon belt drive is not from Gates CDN line but from another brand (I forgot which one). These two bikes are so appealing, and I feel both are head and shoulders above ANYTHING Super73 has to offer. Side note: this past weekend at Electrify Expo in Long Beach, CA a new e-bike brand called Vexcite Bikes was present, which I was ecstatic and a welcome surprise. The staff mentioned they were in their Indiegogo stage, but they had both their MK1 and MK1R out for demo rides. It's pricier than the two aforementioned bikes above, but the MK1R (higher spec model) which my friend rode (who is also an experienced motorcycle rider) mentioned immediately how insanely fast it was, to the point that despite being in the demo e-bike section, it should have been in the moped section since on mode 2, he was going~40 mph and was afraid of how much torque the bike had off the line (and that's not even considering mode 3 which allegedly tops out at ~65 mph). All in all, I'm excited to see what the remainder of 2024 brings. 52V seems to be the new and established standard now, but I wouldn't be surprised if 60V replaces it soon. Aside from these 3 bikes, going a tier below in power, specs, and price, I'm waiting to see if Raev provides a version 2.0 of their GTX model since the new GT was just released, and also eagerly anticipating what the updated Juiced Hyperscrambler replacement specs will be.

The fork manufacturer, RST, has been around for a very long time making mostly OEM stuff for lower and mid-spec mountain bikes. They also make the Killah which I believe is on some Sur-Ron and Talaria models. I don't think RST is any less reputable than DNM or KKE. I think RST is probably a larger company than either DNM or KKE, and has multiple offices globally and a legitimate distributor network. Buy what you like but this isn't some no-name brand at all.

It doesn't matter how much you claim to limit the speed it is a 3000w motor which is not allowed, by 2250w, on any public street in the country. The way you worded that sentence is a straight up lie to your viewers and one I'm going to assume the manufacturer required you to Spurge to get a free bike. You are not to be trusted.

It has a VIN and can be licensed and insured as a moped or scooter, and there are road legal scooters that go 75mph. Aside from that, pretty much every moped-style e-bike peaks above the 750 watt limit, and can be unlocked for 30-35mph speeds. They skirt the law by shipping with the settings at class 2 or 3, but it is an accepted practice and I would not call NPL Ventures dishonest for stating it.

@lyriccycles again, doesn't matter, Colorado limits total bike motor wattage to 750...yours is 2000...not even close. Your bike is illegal to drive on any public road in the US, doesn't matter how many buttons you put on it.

Darn, that suspension travel is a good point. Other than that, I fully agree! It's a perfect bike. Maybe there's a fix for that suspension, everything else about it just seems so good! Good power tires that will last big battery solid brakes - expensive to replace REGEN BRAKING! ALMOST CERTAINLY LEGAL! meh, suspension.....Still pretty worth it.
