Nice list, clearly these are based on your personal preference, as you stated. The scooters at the end are very intriguing & track along your path of progression. I’d like most of these out of the box & not feel the non-resistible urge to upgrade. I think overall, that that’s a huge driver in the purchase of different platforms & such. Another thing that you touched on is controller. That’s where a lot of attention needs to be paid next.

60v definetly feels like the sweet spot for me going forward with ebikes. I have experience with Voromotors who sells the RoadRunner Pro and dont expect any great CS with them unless you love local to their warehouses. I would wait for an updated version of the RR Pro if they do because it could use from improvements.

I would look at the Molo 5 14inch fat tire dual motor 72V 15,000w 70mph. before getting a road runner pro unless they can up their game but for a bit more you are getting a much better ride! and its awesome looking!

Great video. I wanted your thoughts on two things. Have you considered a trailer set up first your bike. I gave up the car a few years ago and adding a trailer to my bike made life so much easier. Five seconds to take on and off. One bike that I think is the dream bike for me I’ve never heard you mention. Delfast 3.0. Give it a look PLEASE. I think you will be thrilled.

Enjoying my Wired Freedom immensely. It is tough as nails and very powerful. Taking it to the desert and it eats up the dirt, rocks and cactus with ease (with upgraded tires). It is also very fast. Highly recommend. Just be aware that is is a big, heavy bike.

I also recently bought the Wired Freedom ebike. I'm very satisfied with it. For the money, I consider it a great value, and a bargain. It checked off every single box of what I hoped to have in my first ebike. It hits hard from a dead stop. I had to go to settings, and slow down the initial torque, until I get used to that much torque off the line. It almost did an unexpected wheelie today, because a lady was fascinated by it, and I wanted her to see how quick it can take off from a dig. I had forgotten about the low-end torque. Thankfully, I didn't eat it right there in the parking lot.

A 10rpm/v would do 600rpm+ with a 60v battery without load... Torque is everything in my area, I live in mountains

the mini bike / scooter style bike looks cool, but there is no seat height adjustment-- you can't pedal it! So exercise is denied by the design. Throttle only ebikes should be called out for that. Your top 5 picks could be re-titled "4 throttle only ebikes". Only the first one allows you to pedal.

Pedals are essential, if you don't have pedals you are taking a huge risk, with your money, legal issues, fines, ect., Some places just don't care, but that could easily change..And the whole attraction to ebike's is no license, insurance, registration, gas, and cheap maintenance..If I'm going to buy a vehicle that needs a license and insurance, I would go with a gas motorcycle or scooter, much cheaper, and the gas mileage they get is off the charts..

I agree completely. Stealth mode is what ebikes need if going on paved public roads. An ebike that looks like a dirt bike is asking to get hassled. I'm trying to avoid hassles, and just ride from point A to point B, safely, and quick enough without drawing attention to myself.

Goat Power Bikes has the best bike as of right now easily - $2400 & you get Samsung cells 60v 25ah 2600watt peak (2k cont.) 50amp controller 50mph Same rear shock as surron blinkers front & back full twist throttle full color display with wattage readout an ignition switch that u need the key to turn the bike on & its a S73 style frame so you can add storage or upgrade to an even bigger battery. The Wired Freedom has direct competition with E-Cells. The Solar Eclipse is the only one that should be in that list as a bonus option & only because it comes street legal. The RoadRunner Pro has terrible suspension & the front wheel has 0 traction in corners & good luck carrying anything more than riding gear.
