HI Ann, this was more an update to see status of houses that was selling from 2 years ago. With such a timeline, I do not expect its still available, however, it's sold by Housing Agency of Jamaica, you would have to reach out to them for more info. When initially advertised, it was going for around 17million.

You couldn't live there unless you have transport. Imagine all the money it would cost you on taxis. There is no thought for people who don't drive. Like a bus route and if so you would have to walk a mile to the bus stop. Through another gated community.

@ many people live there without driving and it’s inexpensive on route taxis. The town is like 2 minutes drive away very short commute. Also Jutc bus passes through the community morning and evenings. I don’t know the exact time but the gate can advise new residents. However you can call the number in the video for exact details.

Beware of Whim Development you will be face with Multiple delays . They will charge you interest and escalations. Please have a lawyer look over your documents before you signed any documents with them, because they will try to take your deposits. Their lawyer Muirhead Fatta design the contract just for Whim's benefit. I believe they take buyer deposits to complete block B . Do not buy from them speaking from experience .

lol I was just having a discussion about stepping right out into dirt or grass instead of a paved area at the back of the house. They should have considered paving or even putting a few garden tiles or some pebbles. But yes, they are definitely trying to keep costs down.

They are small especially if ur planning on growing ur family. Kitchen small. Not enough storage in the houses either and why is the bath in the smaller bedroom/bathroom? Just put baths in both.

I like it. It's just enough space to live decently. People always want more than they can handle. This is want people NEED. Your wants is your business.. I'll take one. I would change the bath tub im too grown so such a low tub. I need the BIG tub. I'll switch it out myself.

that was my issue. i was really tempted to put in an offer but when i realise its location, its below the toll road level, its close to the sea and any tsunami situation will be a disaster. The price point is reasonable. fixtures are cheap but we know people are creative in creating their own space. If this was in an elevated area i would be at the gate right now with my 50 cents

How low is it in comparison to Old Harbour Village though? Haven't heard of any flooding in that scheme and this one is basically behind it.

I am not aware of any flooding either. In terms of how low it is, the sales office may be able to advise but I plan to do an updated video showing the actual Whim Estates, will try to address your comment.

Hi Euda. Bartons is in another direction, there isn't any traffic leading into Old Harbour Bay. Usually around 5pm, because of traffic coming off the highway there may be some traffic to go into Old Harbour Town but not the delay like we see in Portmore or Kingston. It doesn't usually affect entering New Harbour Village. However ,if you have experienced different, we appreciate you sharing.
