@Roddreel If you made that yourself you should sell them, they’re an awesome design. I believe the Precision RC “the greaser” ones have been discontinued which is a shame.

there are 2 marks near the rotor.not too loose and not too tight.

@@Roddreel Are you talking about those two little dimples cast in the rotor and what would you line up to them? reason am asking i took mine off and didnt notice or mark the nut so wondering how to position it. the cover for the nut is toothed so to an extent that also determines where the nut lays for the cover to line up with the three screw holes. Also i notice when you were putting the side plates on you didnt tighten down and you attached handle then tightened. you were checking for binding ?

im not familiar with sizes but the smallest from craftsman as long as its long 3mm head

I was develop in a lab of one of best manufacturing oil and grease company in Dubai.It was lab test for wear and tear.This grease were used for aircraft machines.Test for cold and high temperature.So far I’m using it for 12 years before I share this to public.I have no complaint using this for hi end reels like Stella’s and SOM if you are familiar with those brand.

@Roddreel very interesting are you a chemist or engineer. Not everyone can mix their own greases.. very impressive! BTW. What is that little bearing spinnng tool you use. ?

They have grease the arb stock bearing but I put an new grease low viscosity looks like oil but that’s grease hi temp low viscosity

@Roddreel cool. You taking this reel servicing a step beyond. Am impressed with your skills. I am just about to delve into my Stella sw 14000xg 2019. Is brand new. I have not fished it jus spooled braid on by reeling it under tension. But reel feels rough to me (compared to my butter smooth 18k stella also brand new) . Want to try figure out what is going on inside it.. it does spin very freely, no binding, but Haa a grainy' feel almost a slight rumble.. difficult to explain. If it wasn't next to the smooth 18k one may not even notice

hi bro as technician all of my reels if it is new i will open and check how the factory grease how they put.in my experience some are well grease some are not.i removed the factory grease and put my own sticky grease that will last longer.
