There is a headphone jack on the MVX2U so you can plug in your headphones you’ll have no latency (delay in your voice). Does that help you?

@@luis18hyde we highly suggest using headphones or in-ear monitors to ensure you can hear everything with no latency. If audio is coming out of your speakers, it can also go into your microphone, creating a delay or reverb sound to people hearing you or on your recordings. To reduce audio interface latency and use computer speakers without headphones, you can try using a dedicated audio interface, reducing the buffer size, and using the correct drivers. Does that help you?

In the app, each segment should have a check mark next to it, or you can select all the segments of connected segments as well. Perhaps make sure your app is updated if you don’t see that, and if not - you may want to contact Govee’s customer service. We hope this helps!

@@Vmos710 It will capture a decent version of your voice, but it is a lavalier microphone that is not necessarily made for singing vocals as much as it is made for speaking clarity.

Absolutely it will be better than your earbuds app. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to connect your headphones separately if you want to hear the phone app and/or monitor your own vocals. If there isn’t a separate headphone jack on your smartphone, and you’d like to hear the app, you’d likely need to connect headphones via Bluetooth.

It comes with a usb drive that has drivers you’ll need to download to your computer in order for it to work, based on your operating system. Does that help you?

for some reason i can't hear my custom sound pad playback. it's flashing indicating there is a recording but nothing plays. I can hear myself through the mic so i know the input is working fine. any suggestions?

Not really. Since all the audio from your computer is routed one way into the mixer, there's no way to break it out once the audio is sent to the mixer itself. There are Virtual Audio Routing options for Mac and PC that you may want to look at if you want to mix audio of computer applications first (like Loopback, Voicemeeter, Soundflower and Jack). I have the mic and my headphones setup exactly as you have it in the video. Is there any way to independently control the volume of mic monitoring and my PC? When I have mic monitoring on and adjust the volume of my headphones on the interface it turns both of them up or down simultaneously.

Quick Tip: Spending $357 on this microphone to sound professional will not fix a bad audio set up if you can’t mix well and people will not follow you because you have this mic. So before you drop that crazy amount maybe start with a cheaper mic and grow into this mic

This can only be described as the future for recording, if it can output both channels as separate tracks, i.e your vocals and instrument for editing in your DAW. Without that function, its just the highest priced entry level mike because you still need a multi channel interface and if you need a Digital interface, then the MV7i just becomes a gimmick.

The SM7B is a very gain-hungry mix. I would suggest a gainlifter (like a Cloudlifter) in the chain to minimize the noise.

Yes! If you set up Motiv Mix on another computer and get the mic set how you like it - the sound settings "travel" with the mic when you plug it into another computer (without the need to download Motiv Mix on the other computer). Does that help you?

As a singer, I'm loving the Nexadyne. Bought 2 of them (wireless SLXD system) and for clarity of a condenser combined with the bottom of a dynamic its amazing. I find i need much less EQ, especially in the mids. Great mic for live vocals

It sounds like maybe you aren’t either monitoring the mixer directly with the headphone output, or it isn’t set up properly in the sound settings of your computer or device (input and output). Great question! Honestly, it's a personal preference thing. The CL-X is a Transformer-based circuit - so if you're using it for vocals it will color your sound a bit (much like vintage Neve consoles do). Some want something unaffected, so they opt for the CL-1. The other big difference is you can adjust the amount of gain (2 settings) from the CL-X, as opposed to the "what you get" CL-1. Personally, I like the CL-1 on my voice over the CL-X, but you may prefer a bit of a different sound to your voice or instrument. I'm basically wondering the same thing. I have a USBC to HDMI cable, and I plugged everything in, but it still says no signal. I even used the same cable to try and connect my Steam Deck to a monitor to mirror, and it didn't work either. I suspect maybe my cable just doesn't support this for whever reason??? Which makes no sence because it's HDMI on one end, but. Faulty product I guess? I have no other way to test it.

Two Options: the GoPro webcam software downloadable via their site, or the grab the Media Mod (which has the micro input. Maybe not ideal for your situation, but it’s the only way I’ve gotten it to work like this video. I hope it helps you, and thanks for watching!

@@Dealcasters #1 I tried googling "gopro webcam pc program" and coudn't find any downloads. #2 It's kinda bizarre to me that I would need to then spend even more additional money to get a "mod" (seperate product) for this to work. When the gopro itself could just have this capability. Ontop of that, the media mod is apparently just plugging into the USBC port on the gopro, and then it extends that to a micro hdmi port and another USBC port for charging. But if USBC already supports display connecting, I shoudn't need to convert USBC to micro hdmi, unless there is some BS voodoo magic going on in the side of that media mod that should be pointless. Technically still cheaper than just buying a DSLR, but this entire tech rabbit whole that's starting to feel like a gopro swindle, started because I got a gopro so I could take high quality photos while going to conventions. And you'd think that after spending a couple hundred dollars on this thing, that it could be used in the EXACT same way a DSLR could, as a webcam, without needing to throw additional money at a company that could just make the main product do the thing you want, because you KNOW it is 100% possible. Even though it would cost more money, I'd much rather buy a DSLR at this point and get way better webcam quality, than give 80 more dollars to gopro for what is affectively a "DLC". But it's apalling that I'd have to do this despite already having a perfectly fine camera.
