is it possible to control different application audios with the lines? Example like discord audio, web browsing etc
@Dealcasters12 күн бұрын
Not really. Since all the audio from your computer is routed one way into the mixer, there's no way to break it out once the audio is sent to the mixer itself. There are Virtual Audio Routing options for Mac and PC that you may want to look at if you want to mix audio of computer applications first (like Loopback, Voicemeeter, Soundflower and Jack). Does that help? Thanks for watching!

I have the mic and my headphones setup exactly as you have it in the video. Is there any way to independently control the volume of mic monitoring and my PC? When I have mic monitoring on and adjust the volume of my headphones on the interface it turns both of them up or down simultaneously.

You should be able to adjust the levels on your PC sound settings independently from the mixer.

You will need to record your audio as needed with your computer software. Just make sure you select the mixer as your input and output source. Does that help you? Thanks for watching!

@Dealcasters2 ай бұрын
You have to make sure that you select the Fifine mixer in your computer sound settings as your Input. Depending on the software you are using, you will also need to check that the Fifine mixer is also selected as your sound input. For instance, on a Zoom call - you need to select your Fifine mixer as your Microphone Sound Source under preferences.

@Dealcasters21 күн бұрын
It sounds like maybe you aren’t either monitoring the mixer directly with the headphone output, or it isn’t set up properly in the sound settings of your computer or device (input and output). Here is a KZbin playlist that Fifine has that has troubleshooting for issues like these: kzbin.info/aero/PLZC6InEunXAHgpX-XLub3jpqyBt6kYQWz&si=fyZ8HsQs-4oXJTv7

This interface is made to work with a computer - but you can come out of your mobile phone into the "Input" jack on the back of the unit in order to use the mixing features on what you are playing from your phone. Does that help you?

Yes, you can adjust the volume of what you hear from your computer via the monitor of the mixer - and can also switch the output to different sources in your computer settings. Does this help you?

The SM7B is a very gain-hungry mix. I would suggest a gainlifter (like a Cloudlifter) in the chain to minimize the noise.

@Dealcasters5 ай бұрын
This is an XLR-only mixer/interface. Your usb mic won’t work with it unless it also has an XLR output as well as USB. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

@Dealcasters5 ай бұрын
@@MrTH1986 An XLR adapter won't work when you have a USB mic and want to use an XLR mixer. Interfaces or mixers like this will take the analog signal from an XLR mic and make it digital to go USB into a computer. Unfortunately it won't work the other way around.

@@Dealcasters this is bad. I am a beginner streamer unlike you so I don't understand much about these things. So I need a new mic, can you suggest me an affordable mic because I don't have a high budget? I have read a lot and watched many videos praising fifine microphones like Tank3 or AM8 and I thought about buying one, would you recommend me to use the microphones from this company? because the cost of their microphones does not exceed 80 dollars and this is a price I can afford. Thanks again and I am very sorry to bother you, I hope I did not take up your time.
@Dealcasters5 ай бұрын
@@MrTH1986 no problem at all. We have tested out the Fifine Tank3 here on the channel (a few videos ago) so you can see and hear if it will work for you. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds, and it is both a XLR and USB mic so you can use it in different setups.

What size xlr cables plus into the interface, is it a 3.5mm or a larger jack, many thabks for the video!
@Dealcasters2 ай бұрын
It is a standard XLR (microphone) cable that inputs into the interface. Since it is a dual input, you can plug in a 1/4" cable into it as well. As for the line-in input (for tablets, phones, etc) it is a 1/8" input. Does that help you?

@Dealcasters2 ай бұрын
@@nervouscabbage actually - the rode podcaster is a usb mic - and will not work with this interface. USB mics like the Rode Podcaster are made to plug directly into computers. The mic input for interfaces like this are for XLR mics (not USB mics) with traditional mic cables.

Returned it after 2 days. x4 custom sounds is maybe useful to record (but it records in terrible quality no matter what mic you use) Electric voice you wont ever use. So you are pretty much paying for a voice changer button and sliders of volume which any fifine mic you buy already has. And as a sound card it literally does allmost nothing to improve your voice.
@Dealcasters5 ай бұрын
Thanks for your take! If someone already has a USB mic and doesn’t want the sound features then we agree! If someone has an XLR mic and needs an interface to their computer- this is an affordable option! Thanks for watching!
