Is there a part number for that red filter? I need one and cannot find it

great video. great explanation. however, the camera angle is horrible. Your hands blocked most of the portions that show you testing it

I installed the arm that rests over the spring upside down, and could not get the assembly to line up correctly. The convex side fits into the spring; the spring does not fit into the concave part of the arm. Also, I had difficulty getting the spring to line up and press the arm with the needle all at once, keeping the arm over the spring so that the whole assembly was in the proper position after pushing down. Maybe it's because I'm 76 and never worked on a small carburetor!

This is an excellent video, Thanks. Do you by chance know if Troy Bilt makes a Speedlock Insert that works for this trimmer? TB575SS. The only one I can find has a bump knob that has a bolt instead of a nut

Those clamps are reusable. Flatten them out to remove. Bend them back to position to retighten.

THANK YOU!!!! I'm on my second sawzall because of the pin breaking. Now I can stop spending $200 per saw and just fix it myself, which I prefer to do on anything. Jack-of-all trades. Really appreciate it. keep up the good work!!!!

Thank you for this tutorial. I have a Metabo and need to replace those rollers but could not find any information on that. It seems that they are build the same way. Great video! :)

It worked for me on a DF030D (or FD02W) which has an identical looking leaf spring but with a part number of 232239-9. Maybe a more generic title without the word hammer would make it easier for people, since it's the same on non-hammer drills with a leaf spring that looks like that one.

The copper contact strips are the real weak links in system. In 2024 it costs about $100-130 to buy a switch online. Each contact strip is about $5.

Great video…any tips on removing the gear from the shaft once the retaining ring is removed. I think I’m battling rusty elements but don’t want to ruin the gear from conventional beating and coercive methods…

Really good guide until 1:40. Then it’s utterly useless. Can’t see how it’s done and would be nice if you show how your suppose to make it go in and not just show the hand moving. This part is harder than it looks.
