Some positive feedback: I'm a guy who loves camping, bush crafting, guns, action movies...and journaling. The world of journaling (particularly with a TN, my personal choice) is dominated by women who use the word "cute" way too much and spend more time than I can fathom decorating their journals with Japenese anime bling and a ton of scrapbooking stuff. This is fine (to a point), but NOT what I'm looking for. Thank you for actually using your journal to record thoughts, insights and stay organized. I got a lot of good ideas from your presentation. You also have a very pleasant voice. Well done!

I enjoyed your video, just now getting into the traveler’s notebook and purchased the passport about a month ago and then the full size a couple weeks after and looking for different ideas of what to use it for and how to use it. I wonder if it shows how many times I've watched this lol. Everytime I question my planner setup I watch this for guidance. I feel like you had the same planner journey then me. I however won't purchase myself a fancy cover until I actually stick with one. I'm torn between a pocket and a standard.

just thought I'd hop in and note that in place of Heart of Darkness I started using De Atramentis Archive Ink with a very fine Kaweco. No feathering what so ever on such fine paper, but it might be the nib size. Just thought I'd toss that in :)

I’m so happy that you meandered into A6 this year. This is one of my favorite channels and A6 is one of two go-to sizes for me. Seeing you work in one for a while was a treat. 🙂

Like so many people, I’ve struggled to find a system that works for me. I think this will work well! I’ve come to realize that writing things in two places, such as a monthly calendar and then again on the daily page, works for me, too.

Love the idea of med lists, health problems in your book. Suggestion: make a copy and put on fridge. EMS always looks on the fridge for doctors’ names etc.

i really like looking at journals and planners seeing how others do stuff like decorate and make trips and calenders.

Sorry to hear that your VDS custom isn't working out for you. It's a beautiful color though! How do you request that color leather? I looked on the VDS website and saw it among the leather samples, but it didn't seem to be included in the options for the planners. Love your videos!

Pilot Iroshizuku Take-sumi does really well on Stalogy paper. 🙂 I found Noodler’s inks to be too finicky with it. It’s a decent solid black. Happy to send you a sample if you’d like. I have a bottle.

I’m very keen on keeping things simpler and 2 notebooks is definitely my maximum. I always see these videos and think I should add the contact details/ICE and medical tracker, and the page with the credit card phone numbers, etc.
