I have a 2024 RAM 2500 Laramie with the 6.4 Hemi. My towing capacity is a lot higher than this video stated. Maybe 2022 was different?

Plenty of people who own 5th wheels and drive a 1 ton pickup aren't qualified for that as well.

Thank you for the video, I’m going to look at the exact RV this week. Well not actually the exact, it’s dirty and needs a few repairs but cosmetic issues only and I can handle them! I’m so excited about all the storage because I plan on living in most of the year! Thanks again 😊

I really enjoyed your video. I think this is what a video should be. Show us the struggle and the "adjustments" needed to get the job done. I personally love to see what is really required to get the job done. I just bought a used Bounder today, but the levelers won't fully retract. I'll start by checking the oil. Life saver bro. Subscribed and liked. Who knew this video would still be useful in 2024!

After 2 sequential tire blow outs- one on the Mercedes on the dolly, the other a bit later on the dolly- we are getting tire pressure monitors because we didn't feel anything in the Motorcoach. One vehicle flagged us, and we did a customary recheck and found the dolly tire tore up. High speeds, sustained travel time over-heats the tires and they blow. This is one of the reasons for those 3 hours/or 300 miles, 4 hours/or 4 hundred miles situations. Wear & tear . Also, using tire covers when parked.

On the Auto Zone issue. Yea I had one of there button pushing punks shoot his mouth of at me. After my walking around the counter within arms reach of this idot he was screaming for the manger who in turn started to tell me how I was not suppost to be behind the counter. Now for the most part I am a very nice person a biker so respect is everything but my 6'3" 280 lbs butt went off they called the cops to my delight every customer in that store told the cop I was in the right so the cop just trespassed me from the store. went home found Auto Zones head office made a phone call and brother let me tell you Auto Zone dont play they sent a rep to my shop who had that store manger with him ask me how i wanted to proceed all the way up to firing him. I dont want to see no one lose there job so a simple apology was all i ask. Those guys treat me pretty darn good now.

There is no shame for slowing down, unless you are racing the complete stranger who doesn't understand speed limits. In traffic, I brake gently to get into the desired lane.

Let’s not forget you can add a supercharger/pro charger to your gas engine with a custom tune and increase your torque rating significantly.

We're complete motorhome newbies and are shopping around Alberta Canada for a 94 to 98 Bounder or similar, either 30 or 32 ft. Has anyone retrofitted an after-market combination washer/dryer unit into one of these? If so, where located?

Truck drivers know that torque is more important than HP when towns. HP matters but if you don’t have good torque numbers you’re not pulling very well.

My 2019 ram 2500 crew cab tradesman can tow 17800lbs. According to the dealer and my vin lookup on the ram website. not sure which model ram or trim package only tows 12k. Seems very low in comparison. Mine is a 6.4 gas hemi also

So mine froze right at the valves. Did the tape work to keep them thawed so you cam open and close them?

It did work.. but keep in mind when it gets down past the single digits and that deep freeze lasts for a while it's not gonna open.

Well maybe we need to take about 2/3 of the drivers off the road. They have no idea how their vehicle operates, including heavy haulers.

I don't think it's fair to group all older folks into that.. as some do know what they are doing.. but I do think there should be some sort of training that is required for any new rv owner.

One time my boss needed me to pick up a 6000lb chipper all the way across Los Angeles. 100miles. All I had was a 3/4 ton pick up. He said do u think u can do it safely ? I said sure I will just go slow. So I took many side roads back at 35mph. Took all day but was safe
