The reason your biscuits were a bit too dark on the bottom is that your pans are very dark as opposed to shiny. A dark pan absorbs heat whereas a shiny pan tends to reflect it. You can fix this by putting a sheet of aluminum foil on the rack underneath the one the pan goes on. I've been doing this for decades because my pans are almost black. Also, I don't think you need the parchment paper.

Yeah yeah yeah for Joseph and Aiden!!!!!!’ I am so proud of Joseph and I don’t even know him but I am so happy for them and I pray he is able to stay sober for himself for Aiden and you and your husband!!!!!!!!! I really am!!!!!!! I have stage 3 lung cancer and I am fighting like hell to beat this darn disease!!!!!!!!! So I could use some prayers if you don’t mind!!!!!!! I found out 1 year ago to this day December 13th and I have been fighting this for. A Year!!!!!! So plz pray for me if you would and I will pray for your son for him to stay sober!!!
