As a book reader, I'll admit this was a change I didn't mind. Compared to some stuff that really made me unhappy, Dorne and Euron especially, I didn't mind it because at as much personally. But I could understand why it would make some people unhappy to give them a relationship or age them up. They'd already changed stuff from the beginning anyway, so it wasn't a massive shock.

Missandeis brothers were unsullied as well so it would have made sense to condense this into Grey Worm and Missandei being siblings, or at least having a platonic friendship

Greyworm’s actor having no muscle really bothered me. The actor made zero effort to look like a seasoned warrior. Furthermore, the unsullied carrying SPEARS inside cities felt idiotic. They are useless in such environment. It’s like the orcs in The Two Towers (the film) carrying spears to besiege a fortress.

I can never take unsullied and Dothraki seriously. Unsullied don't have testosterone so can't have muscles and thus weak. Also their inspiration phalanx were very outdated for medieval era pikemen better. Dothraki don't have armour or engineers so they can never defeat free cities or Westros.

Daemon's arc in S2 makes more sense and is still just as decent in showing how nuanced and well thought out his characterization is. Instead of being some rogue that probably has designs on Rhaenyra's throne he's now a fully committed loyalist and if anything his motivation is even more pure than her's since now he's actually SEEN the threat of the White Walkers.

Growing up, our family thanksgiving dishes were a little simpler than these. The woke need of degrading daemon's badassness in the last season was wild. Also all women are portrayed like all of them just want to achieve peace while all the "brainless" men just want to kill each other. WTF

Daemon is one of the biggest reasons people rallied behind Rhaenyra in the first place. Even the greens saw Daemon as the biggest threat.

Season 1 had such high potential and season 2 was a complete letdown. At least I didn't waste almost a decade this time.
