The build I never got to do I had the truck I had the supercharger. The junkyard had the engine and the transmission but after cutting out 11 patch panels for rust holes, And looking over that god awful front suspension, I said fuck it.

Nothing is perfect dont beat your self up over stuff. Like I said you worry to much about stuff. The Engine mounts will not be seen much. Its not a show vehicle.

I never use torque wrench. Just tighten it up 😂 when breaking the bolts loose i try to remember how tight they was.

If you out a 350 in a 2.2 Chevy s10 you have to cut the output shaft on the transmission. Otherwise the engine will not turn after you bolt the transmission to the motor. Found this out 30 years ago around 😂

You are going to regret reusing the input seal.. when it leaks the oil will coat that pretty new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel..

Years ago a quart of transmission fluid would quiet down noisy lifters and also clean your engine. Just change oil after 500 miles

You are putting in heavier oil to Lubricate the entire engine; 5W-20 is piss oil?

I'm glad that you didn't go with a small block Chevy or an LS. There are way too many of those swaps. A 3.8 swap is worth watching. Also, something to think about is that GM tended to make the V6s run rich and they don't usually get great gas mileage like they should. Maybe your tuner can solve some of those issues.

What year is the engine? Is it 96 to 04 Vortec 4.3L with the balance shaft? Or an older one without the balance shaft and the internal balance crankshaft?

Just wondering, when do you think you’ll have part seven out? Is that going to be about wiring the motor up to the original S 10 harness I’m just waiting to get the money I made from selling some stuff and then I’ve got a motor lined up and I’ll be putting it in here soonand thank God you’re putting out these videos at the same time I’m planning on doing this. It’s definitely really helpful to have some visual reference to go off.

I'm a little curious here the Buick Grand National had the 3.8 V6 wouldn't a flywheel work for this? I'm not up on the GM 3.8's

The Camaro flywheel was just bolt on for the 3800 swap in a Fiero. Had to cut the flywheel down a bit to fit between the engine and transmission, but didn't alter the balance at all and it ran fine.

FYI, the camaro only came with an NA engine, and the balances ARE slightly different b/t the NA and SC engines.. yours might be close, but it's still wrong..

Hey dude when your unsure of bolt torque use a torque chart. Different bolt diameters and course/ fine thread pitch are listed. Just use that. Unless your using torque to yield. Throw them away and buy real bolts then torque to the chart values.

What if you put the Supercharged top end and blower on an F-body RWD 3800 SII bottom end with a flywheel? I know the pistons will be flat top and not dished and compression ratio will be higher, however one could lower the boost or use E85...

The correct torque for all fasteners is, pull on them it till it brecks and then back them off 1/8 of a turn.
