Im 56 and about to purchase my first ever 4X4, a Ranger Wildtrak, an offer i cant refuse, 2021 and 17k on the clock, for very low X amount of dollars, i know the car as i have driven it and be buying it from my boss. Only been some what 4 wheel driving at places like lancelin, wedge point as a passanger, always wanted a 4B4 so this opportunity has fallen into my lap. Looking to may be join a 4x4 club to do some group runs.....get some knowlege from members and the like. Any info folks could direct me to would be apreciated.

What tyre pressures where you guys running?? Everyone was getting Bogged. My favourite spot lucky bay. We ran 12psi for 10days with Zero issues. Really easy beach to drive.

Slightly lazy recovery of the Colorado at the waterline ...there should've been more pushing of the vehicle going on by the bystanders. Know the country well and great video overall.👍

For the support on the diff that requires the star hex socket, do you have to take that off or could you have just split the diff with it still on.

How did this go long term, ant noise from it? did you need to add manual hubs for 2wd on the road?

Had it for 6ish months now and it's fantastic. If you get the clearances spot on there kinda smooth offroad when they unlock. I don't have a manual hub conversion but I am thinking about it for bush proofing the front and fuel economy, but it's weaker then the OEM set up so it's swings and round abouts. Cost me around $600 and did all the seals and clearneces when I was in there (got it on a 20% off sale)

When removing ball joints just hit it on the flat spot they are shock loaded and will separate them selves
