What tyre pressures where you guys running?? Everyone was getting Bogged. My favourite spot lucky bay. We ran 12psi for 10days with Zero issues. Really easy beach to drive.

Thanks mate! No we haven't acutally, never really heard of them either but a quick google shows they might not be super useful for the stuff we do. We rely on low tyre pressures, maxtrax's, snatch straps and a good winch to get us out of tough situations :)

Definitely do, down to 10 - 12 PSI for most of our regular convoy, unsure of what exactly he was running at the time though

Argh, if you are winching, winch. If you are driving, drive. Try both and you just dig in.

Agreed he was going a bit quick in this instance, but in general, you should have your wheel speed be equal to your winch speed

@@4WDWA How many people are smart enough to do that without seeing them? Sadly I’m in Lithgow and we get the weekend warriors coming out from Sydney in plague proportions. Time after time you see them (the few who aren’t real men with snatch straps) with the winch and just cutting through the mud instead of letting the winch lift them up onto the crust where they could either drive away or at least take the load off the winch and go another ten feet to solid ground quickly.

@@4WDWA Just continuing my bitching session, It’s to the point where using the snatch strap on the winch helps, It loads up the strap and nothing looks like it’s happening , then it pops it right up out of the holes it dug and on top of the ground.

Slightly lazy recovery of the Colorado at the waterline ...there should've been more pushing of the vehicle going on by the bystanders. Know the country well and great video overall.👍
