core problem is not territory control. The fundamental problem of the game is new player attraction and retention. None of my friends stuck around because it's just too much time investment to get ganked outside cities 24/7 while learning the game, all for nothing. The game is fun for the veteran 10% who played for years already, but if you're new and don't have 8h+ a day to spend on the game then you will just find frustration and you'll quit within a month or two.

100% agree, as someone thats played reasonably consistently since beta (took a few months off here and there) I think the biggest thing the game needs is fun engaging pve that is solo viable, so the grind doesn't hurt. Imagine if the hunting system was like the hunting in RDR2, it'd be difficult to pull off but new people (who arent sweats) would join the game and stay to play a hunting simulator thats part of a bigger open world. IDK what to do about mining but bandits and outlaws could also be more fun instead of worthless drops and enemy spam for difficulty.

I think this was a good patch 👍👏 hoping the next one will be a game changing and that after this they will start to ads the game for more new players to come. This world need players mostly, and the pvp and TC entertainment will come along

I would play the game again if there was an actual arena you went to and queued against people with a similar MMR. That sounds like a blast and a great way to practice getting better at fighting one versus one. Mortal Online 2 combat is great. I bet there would be a huge explosion in the player base if they added a few instanced things like this. Game is going to die if the majority of the people playing can play all day and gank players that just have time to play a few hours after work and their kids fall asleep(me). I just gave up after being killed by the same person over and over with an invisible weapon. Such a terrible experience. At least with the arena, I'd be able to practice getting better and not lose my equipment while doing so. This type of game attracts a lot of toxic people with too much time on their hands. That, in my opinion, is why it's failing. There are far more casual players than no lifes, make them want to play again and the game will be popular. I played both UO and SWG a lot. This is my favorite type of game, I just can't play 12 hours a day like I did when I was younger...

felt like daily quests helped slightly, (not quite enough but step in right direction) but they just put 10 vet bandits as the quest man, this isnt helping people who cant get on for significant amounts of time still have access to mortal clade system i have lost guildies to the clade farm and when they asked i couldn't tell them the roadblock is reasonable come back (ranked duels is a joke, nobody who plays is happy with the implementation needs chess ranking system)

patch is good, just not necessary. still no major changes to the TC end game. It needs a complete rework and there was nothing that moved that in the right direction long term. Short term tc changes are never going to fix this game. PvP is still a snoozfest, literally everything does too much dmg and nothing was done to move this in the right direction. changes for the sake of changes. They need to spend a series of 3 or 4 patches completely focusing on pvp balance and TC revamp.
