My Fallout 4 steam game / all the mods are downloaded on my D:\ Drive but downloading these depot things immediately goes to my C:\ Drive. I've changed my default download settings but it still goes here and i dont know why.

Hi, I using puredark fsr and trying to make it work with reshade. But with original dll the game crashes, with the modified dll, the reshade just don't work

I have tried every method I can find on YT... Simple downgrader, regular downgrader, importing all the files manually... Nothing works. When I try the downgrader programs, when I launch (or try to launch) the game via the launcher to bypass steam, I get an error saying the launcher is out of date (and it references the .163 version), and that I should update that. Anyone have any advice?

2:55. I want to share that making the backup of a game won't help if Fallout 4 updates. I had my 1.10.163 as steam's backup, but anyway it is installing as updated.

The third method worked for me!! I followed your steps and thank you very much for helping me! I am a Vortex user, it is worth mentioning that I uninstalled F4 and Vortex and reinstalled them again and followed the 3rd method directly and then installed F4SE 0.6.23 manually and it worked!!! For what it's worth, I have F4 on Steam and all the DLC except the high definition texture pack. Thanks!!

i reinstalled the game ond followed al the instructions and then it started but my menu looks empty , idk what did i do wrong?

i hope here someone could help me, i downgraded the fallout and when i execute the f4se loader 6.23 for the old versión of fallout 4 an error appears saying "steamuser procedure entry point not found in dynamic link library" and not launching the game and there where i´m stuck not allowing me to play a collection of mods, if someone could helpme ´ll be so grateful.

Forgot two things: 1. Add "[NoDelete] END" at the very bottom of the list. 2. Go to "F:\Ascensio\mods\NAT.ENB - ENB PRESET\Root\enbseries" and rename "NATENB_BadInstall.png" to something else. My discord server: discord.gg/dxmEKg3Eaw

Biggie has done a great job on both his list; LoreRim and NGVO. I am using NGVO to build two separate mod list that very focused, not general play thorough. One is focused on the Shattered set of mods, the other will be very specific to playing a Rigmor Trilogy. I will say concerning Wunduniik that Alax the creator has continued to update. It is now at 3.4.1. Each time he optimizes it and provides more choices to allow you to find a profile that works for your hardware. He has both multiple ENB and Community Shader Profiles now. I would suggest giving it another try. I enjoy your testing, I can always pick up some new information by watching something like this. Best of luck to you.

Your CPU is bottlenecking you, not the GPU. Well below the recommended specs. If you want better FPS, just swap Ulvenwald for HLT.

I actually had my game set to "Only update this game when I launch it" so Steam must have forced the update, I even double checked to see if I have forgotten, and low and behold it was still set to NOT update, so imagined my surprise after playing Skyrim for a bit to see Fo4 3/4 a way done with the update, I tried to stop it but looks like you can't, Damn Steam/Bethesda😫😫😒😒

i have attempted both methods listed here, the closest i have gotten was with the depot method but it still crashes when i boot up F4se, i looked and everything seems to be in the right version. what could i be doing wrong now? EDIT: i did it again and restarted steam and attempted to load it on steam by accident then loaded it with F4se and it worked!

So basically due to the game and mods crippling the cpu this is only actually doing anything once your in areas that are not cpu bound. Watched a few of these videos now and they all still have drops to 35-45 fps that is the same as without the upscaller mod due to the game bottlenecking the cpu. The gpu isnt doing the work.
