Im always interested in these UU opinions. I ground My first 3 tier 10 UU's when it was just straight up fxp. Khaba, Grozovoi, and Moskva. Nice to see you like two of those. But now it takes more fxp to do thru the RB, and lots of people would rather get a boat. I dont know. Maybe I will get the Golden, for sure. Also considering Hakuryu or Kleber...

I *HIGHLY* recommend the commander skill that gives you the 10% speed boost in stealth as well. With speed flag, she will get up to 38 and some change knots (!!) Giving you the ability to do some sneaky flanking and absolutely RUN UP on some BB snipers from angles they weren't expecting to get ambushed by a BB from. 😂 Also good for closing distance on DDs that try and break contact and just getting back to where the fight is when youve scrubbed your entire area and want to take the "daka" show and do missionary work 👍 P.s. as everyone else commented. ALL secondary build. That reload stacked turns your secondaries into a steady stream of damage. Also I recommend IFHE. Fires are good, but improved pen improves alpha damage from your spray.

Great info on an interesting ship, thank you! One quick question / observation, the air strike planes seemed to get shot down quite a bit. Do you have any insight on to what impact that is happening, like is it before or after the bombs are dropped? Is it impacting the potential effectiveness for this type of air-strike?

If planes are shot down before the bomb drops less bombs drop on the target of all the planes are shot down no bombs are dropped

The tier 8 is in the free event pass. The tier 9 is in random bundles for doubloons. For the tier 10 you need to fill a progress bar with progress token that are in random bundles for doubloons...

Gouden will still be amazing after this line drops. Having up to 4 airstrikes, harder hitting guns, and better tanking ability lets it get into and out of much better positions than the Utrecht line. Especially since the line will likely be nerfed right before it gets put out for early access purchase.

I don't expect this new line to get nerfs, like the other post, but I definitely agree that the Gouden Leeuw will still be a beast with the unique upgrade it gets. It is much sturdier, and the strikes are much more reliable.

Good list. Only change id made is swapping Grozovois UU out for Yamatos. Grozo shines as Jack of all trades. So why go for a full gunboat build on it when there re ships which do far better in that role. Yamatos UU on the other hand is a nobrainer pick. Makes those 460 guns even more deadly.

Elbonk leg mod is a menace. I got it when it came out. And have over 1500 battles on it now. I find the best way to use it is 1 with Lutchens because you usually end up with at least one heal a game, and it with the new flags, it's around a 3700 hp. So you get a DD with 40k hp. Play with a radar cruiser, dive into enemy DD spotting ranges aggressively, use your hp and AP w/ your cruiser friend to bully them, take them out of the game early. You may lose half your HP but, that opens a flank up for your cruisers and BBs to push and lets you go play Elbing as a Kleinebattleship. Go somewhere that you can get broadsides that BBs would get spotted and die. 71% of the time, it works every time! And Bou, one thing I think that you should have mentioned about the Gumo reset is you can save a bunch of free XP by researching up to the AKI, playing through that one, then doing the same for the Kita. If you research all the modules you need to upgrade them(skip the aki torps) you can cut the XP needed fo get the Gumo points down to like 450 I think and all it takes is playing some Aki/Kita games (I know. The horror!)

I did not understand the resetting technique that you said here. And are there any other DD, Cruiser or BB lines which are easy and non-boring grinds which can be resetted multiple times for the research bureau points.

@@Berthold-s9c most people don't regrinding the ships after resetting. They use free xp to do it. You get the free xp by playing other ships. Clan Battles, for example, with a booster flag gives a ton of Free XP. Because they are using free exp, it's best to pick the ship that requires the least XP to fully unlock, which is the Harugumo, with the Shima a close second.

@@banhbaothit1629 Yes, you 100% should use your 2x reset within the next 2 weeks, because when it resets it will go back to 2x for a reset again. Even if you have not finished your regrind of the line, it will be there for you when you are ready. If you only reset once every few months, you want to try to use it at the very least when there is the 2x bonus for the reset. At the bottom of the tech tree, it will tell you when the next reset takes place.

I use to wait 3 months in between resetting the line as it gives you a 2x bonus. So each 3/4 of a year I can buy a ship for research points, as it stacks up to 6x. And in this time I have earned enough free XP and credits to do this actually, as I am an casual player.

Dont buy mods for first RP ! , go for Ohio ! , and if you want make game ez for you = you do wg mission/dockyard quicker from RB there are 3 more good ships: -Illinois quickest fireing on battleship if you WG give impossible mission 1000 main batter hit by bb , you can do that in co op in 4-5 battles = about 1hour (that is must have ship) ! - Vampire II great fire power sama as above , and have crawling smoke ... oh tho you can replace it with Kitakaze with T9 premium free camo from mission . - Colber fire starter , she have replaced Smolensk for me when it come to those kind of mission (start fire ribbon) , oh tho there are 2 batter coal options , 1 Salem with 203 mm guns and is avesome for cita hit ribbons , oh tho my ship to go patch have look like that Salem-Smolensk-Colbert-Brisbane as Brisbane have 152mm guns = she will cita good , she is good at starting fire , & have awesome torps and that is great for torp hit ribbons + 12km radar & hydro , she is not best at all but good at everything ... ... I am saynig RB ships are great , but study game and look for other free or esyer to get options . o7

Grozovoi UU is a complete waste of time. In reality your getting just 6% faster reload for 20% worse torp reload, and the turrets are fine without it. On average you'll lose 50% of your health during a game, use adrenaline rush, add in fearless brawler and its 32% (3 secs) faster reload without it and 37% (2.8 sec) with UU. Is 20% worse torps really worth 0.2 seconds.

I agree, with a caveat. Some of them give you a different way of playing the ship, in essence giving you a different ship, without it being so. I bought the Colbert as my first RB ship, but have now switched to only buying UUs as for the most part, there are tech tree boats that do everything the RB ones do.
