Now I know for sure I put the right card in my Dell 5050 which has a I-5 7500 with 16 gig ddr4 memory (240watts). the 6400 4 gigs DDR6 (Asus) is kind of a miracle card for me or maybe it's the 7th generation cpu but I play Elden Ring, BG3 and other recent games at 1300+ resolution, no heat, no lags, no noise with everything textures at ultra and the rest at high. My screen is a LG 50" ultra HD. I realized that the size of the memory is not everything but the speed of data transfer is. Windows runs alone on the MM2 stick, all my games are on an external 4T sata drive. The funny thing is, my idea was to build a retro gaming kit :) One tip, buy renewed PCs (not altered), not refurbished (filled with junk)

I'd get the Quadro P1000 instead of this, it's slightly faster while also consuming around 10W less and you can find it really cheap nowadays or the T1000 (2021) which is much faster but also a bit more expensive but worth it since it's basically a GTX 1650

Appreciate the works done to make this video but maybe it would be better to run the best multiple times for each program/game and average the scores to better reflect the performance of these gpus

I got the Yeston 3050 to pair with my HP Prodesk 400 G5 with an i5 8500. This is just a second gaming PC and I have less than $275 in it and with limited testing it’s done good. Does run warmer than I am used to my main rig. Will keep an eye on it as I continue to test it.

I have been shopping for a low profile GPU in an old SFF desktop for some light gaming. Thank you for helping narrow down the choices with this comparison and it looks like the Yeston will work for my needs.

Am I mistake to think FPS is result of the GPU processor chip (GA107) that’s identical across both units, using content already in the VRAM, thus one could expect both cards perform similarly when there’s sufficient airflow to prevent thermal throttling? The difference of PCIe would likely be more apparent when there’s data transfer from SSD into VRAM, which would likely manifest in faster load times?

I might get it to play my Audio books SD card at work. Won't need internet since only the work laptop is supposed to link. I got a SFF Dell Optiplex 7010 and I went for the MSI card but my PCI-E slot was upper and full sized leaving a cards space between it and the PSU, I guess they have different form-factors of MB!

Just installed the yeston 3050 into my Optiplex 5060 (i7-8700) this week. Been having a blast with it, definitely an upgrade over the RX6400 I had. More than enough for the games I play. Just impressed over the 3050 being sold as a single slot, fun times for SFF gaming.

I actually prefer the Dell/HP/Compaq/eMachines . . . pre-built mATX cases. Mid-towers from the early 2000's on out. They have to use standard ATX parts tho. Non of that proprietary garbage. I have even put an ad on my local market place seeking an old case for free, and I usually get a few people who have some old Pentium4 pre-built that is completely obsolete, but they hate to toss it all out. So there's often a free ODD mixed in as a bonus. They're usually very well taken care of. And hey, free is free.

Don't get a Dell SFF. Get a HP SFF due to having the full size PCI-E slot being further away from the psu.
