Hi Gabriel, Thanks for the comment. It sounds like you have a second hand machine where the button layout was customised. Starbucks used to order their blenders this way although, now they use Vitamix. Even though the touch pad shows only 4 buttons, it's very likely that underneath the sticker, it actually has the full 6 buttons. If you imagine there are 6 buttons on the touchpad, you should be able to control the machine as normal. First though, you might need to restore it factory settings by pressing 5-2-1 in quick succession. Hi April, Thanks for the comment and yes you can use the Twister jar on the EZ600. Would suggest using the milkshake profile as you have the slow speed setting (speed 1 for 18 seconds) and also the pulse button; both good for nut butters. I always roast my almonds before blending and the flavour is phenomenal. Good luck!

Hi Brandon, Thanks for the comment. I would suggest using a very strong bonding agent such as a strong glue. I have done this in the past succesfully and the rinser still works today. Let me know how you get on Adam

Also. Can i connect to hot water line? I make lots of shake and sometimes fudge and peanut butter sticks too much and not rinsing

@@brandons1872 Yes, you can connect to hot or cold water but I would suggest you avoid boiling hot for obvious safety reasons.

I have to slam the blender on the rapid rinser to get it to spray. Would this be the magnet problem?

Is it possible that you've purchased a domestic model such as the Pro 750 which looks very similar? Hi Simone, Thank you for your comment. Yes you can use the Blendtec Rapid Rinse in a Food truck or catering vehicle but you need to have good water pressure. I mention the technical requirements at around 3 minutes in the video (30 PSI / 206 KPA). If in doubt, I would recommend getting in touch with a plumber or someone who can test your current water pressure or install the required equipment for you. i had this exact same problem and realized that the top on the sprayer wasn't screwed it properly, you have to make sure the top is pushed down all the way and the middle bit should poke out slightly before screwing it in

Hi Chucky, thanks for the comment. I hear what you're saying. Yes, some people prefer to put some water and dish soap into thier blending jars and use the pulse button to 'blend' the soapy water and sanitise thier jars. This is a very easy and effective way to clean up but it takes a bit of time. In a cafe, restaurant, or other commercial kitchen environment where they use the blender all day long, speed of service is very important and the Rapid Rinse is a great way to simplify and speed up the cleaning process - plus it saves a lot of water. Hi Joseph, Thanks for the comment. The short answer is yes it can be changed. Unfortunately, the bad news is that the hardware (a little external black box) and software needed to change those older models has been long discontinued so extremely difficult to get hold of. Depending on which country you are in, it could be worth going to your local dealer and asking for an old style Q-series / ABC programming kit. The software came on a CD-Rom which was included in the programming kit. The part number for the programmer was 20-602. If you don't get any luck with this, I'm afraid the next best thing to do would be to ask your dealer to upgrade the blender to the latest spec which includes a USB stick. Good luck.

The Professional 800 is a household machine and cannot be programmed. The Stealth is commercial and therefore can be programmed.

Hi there, thanks for the message. Try pressing the following buttons in order 5 - 2 - 1. This is a reset code for that (older) model. The screen should say 'restore defaults'. If the touchpad buttons do not respond at all, it could be a loose ribbon connection. If that is the case, I reccomend you get in touch with your local Blendtec dealer. Let me know how you get on.

Ribena ice cream sounds delicious, and I've been looking at this recipe here www.ribena.co.uk/blog/recipes/desserts/summer-blackcurrant-ice-cream/ I expect you could make this mix but it asks to be folded gently which to me sounds like it would be better done by hand. However, if you wanted to use your Blendtec, I would suggest a very slow speed. If you are looking to make in large batches for say, commercial use, I would also recommend using the Blendtec 'Frothing jar' which aerates rather than blends. Hi and thanks for the comment! The old way of custom programming involved using some Blendtec software and having your blender connected to your PC via a 5 pin programmer. I think the software and hardware support for custom programming the 5-pin version is now obsolete but you could reach out to Blendtec's Customer Services and ask if they are able to support on this. If you have an older Connoisseur 825 (also known as the Q-series) you can try the code 5 - 2 - 1 pressing one button after the other. The screen will say "restore defaults". If you have a newer Connoisseur 825 with a USB port, then access the menu by holding buttons 2 and 4 at the same time, then scroll through options with button 1 and select a choice with button 5. Hi, thanks so much for the comment. So, just to help me understand - you had your board changed and the service agent put in another 5-pin port board? That seems strange because the old 5-pin boards are no longer in circulation so most of the time if a board needs replacing, service agents will fit a USB board. Double check your board please and let me know. That aside, can you tell me what your issue is in more detail please? It sounds like you are saying that the buttons are not responsive at all - is that correct? Or is it that the buttons do work but you can't program it as per my guide here?
