I’m pretty sure it uses regen when you press the break pedal, up to a point, so you are not losing any regen even if the one pedal driving does not break so hard.

Regarding steering wheel covering the gauge cluster, YMMV. I bought a Prius Prime a month ago, and I don’t have this issue at all. Not sure why the dimensions are different for me, as the author of this video is not the only person to have complained about this- but I literally adjusted the seat and steering wheel the first time I got in the car, and that was it - no problem for me.

I have a ‘20 rebel with a ecodiesel engine. Puttering around locally it gets 25+mpg. On a road trip, just to see what would happen, i set the cruise at 60 mph and got over 29mpg, pushing close to 30. Good truck so far.

I just saw this video and thinking about the same thing for my Ram. Since this was 2 years ago I assume you had a chance to check it out with a tent on it. Any regrets on any part of this. Expecially the no drill/clamps ?

Recently picked up a 2024 MYP (had a 2020 Model 3 sr+ before it) and mashing the pedal never gets old. Driving around in the MYP, there's something strange feeling about being one of quickest cars on the road, makes you almost feel like you just want to drive slower lol. It's not the fastest thing on the road, but it sure is far from being the slowest. It puts into perspective for me just how terrifyingly fast the Model S Plaid must be since it's nearly twice the power numbers. That's just diabolical, seriously...

The paddles only select the highest gear range it can go to. so you can effectively shift down but not up. A lost opportunity to not make them work as they do in other cars. The ECVT puts a lot of people of this car, a stepped transmission at least in certain modes or when in manual (Like Subaru WRX) would make them far more popular.

Is it true that 4wd high is only usable until 60mph? Ive heard that it switches back to 2wd above 60? I am thinking about buying a Rebel or Limited. The Rebel looks way more impressive but I just read that the headlights are way better in the Limited. I dont know what to do actually 😅

I love my 2016 rebel. The only thing I wish it didn’t have is the air suspension. Other than that. With a Diablo tune and some bolt one, it’s one reliable truck!
