Great Review as always. I haven’t seen a review in the Black Sheep Gotti. Are you planning on reviewing that bag? I just purchased a set of the Swag Bag Tornadoes based on your great review. I just got them in today but have not had a chance to throw them. I love a 5/8 bag and a fuller hand feel bag in a medium to medium/large template. That’s why I would like to see a review on the Gotti. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

No. Different materials, different fill, different template size. There are quite a few differences that allow the bags to play differently.

I absolutely agree with you on this. As a business, you have a 'responsability' to explain your product to the customer if you want them to spend their money on your product... Ultra is notorious for this, not talking speeds or anything... as a consumer I care very little about statements like 'dominate the board with this amazing bag' ... I want to know matierals, speeds and feel... If that's not mentioned Im not buying the bag... simple

I'm glad they aren't because I play mostly in non ACL events. I would say most people don't need ACL stamped bags. Most local leagues and events are not ACL sanctioned and do not require ACL stamped bags.

Hi Mike. Whats the difference between this bag and the Hammer ( other than the Herringbone carpet on Hammer)? Both play at 5 - 9 speeds. I'm assuming the fill?

That is a huge difference. One is a hybrid material and the other is 100% polypropylene material. I have a set of Hammers that I will be reviewing.

Mike …. It’s both inertia and momentum. Inertia would refer to the bag at rest while momentum would refer to bag in motion.

I would choose the Boardwalker most of the time. The fast side of the Boardwalker makes it easier to collect multiple bags.

TCL stamped bags are only sold on the TCL store. However, Big D no longer makes TCL stamped bags. You won't find a new set of TCL stamped Marilyns.

Just bought this set from you (thanks Mike!). I was formerly a viper r thrower, and still am, but these have taken over as my primary thrower. My hands are a bit smaller, and I find that I can grip these better and hit spots better than with the Rs.

I have thrown these bags. I like em a lot. I will say they are very hole friendly even though they are not real floppy. Mike - that fill is awesome and it packs nicely in the hand. Great review!

Yes. This is not a great humidity bag. Honestly, any material that is not carpet or hybrid will slow down in humidity.

You mentioned below the Zero Gravity Neptune. I have a set, they felt sandy at first but they've grown on me. With those, I noticed the shifting you describe. Are the Swamp Waters similar in feel to the Neptunes? I love that Swamp graphic!

No. The Neptunes are an all bead fill. That's completely different than the fill in the Swamp Waters.

Mike, I'm a big fan of Ultra bags on the ACL side, who would you consider the Ultra on the ACO side? Threw a set of CBC Carbons in a regional and really liked them, have a couple of B3's bags and SW Jefe's but I'm wanting to have one brand on both sides. Thanks

I'm not sure how to compare companies like that. It's interesting that you like Ultra but you also like the Carbon and Jefe. Ultra bags are large and floppy. The Carbon and Jefe are medium and slightly on the fuller side. I'm not a supporter of only throwing bags from one company. I would rather throw the best bag for each situation regardless of who makes it. I'm not a big fan of Ultra and their bags so I'm probably not the best person to ask this.

@@MikesBags I'm actually getting away from throwing my Viper R's as much but my Psycho R's and X's and Widows seem to be fuller and less floppy as my game is changing. I seem to be way more accurate with the fuller bags, that's why I like the Jefe's and Carbons, maybe I haven't thrown the Psycho's and Widow's enough since I did my break in last year to make them super floppy and not like them any longer. Thanks for the input and as always your reviews, if I'm looking for new bags I always wait till you've reviewed them before I choose.
