I wonder if Alpha Bags starting making mixed fill Shadow Xs or include more fill now. I got some back in September that are pretty floppy and feel like all flat disc.

That bag is amazing. Flat fill not disc. That bag will do anything. It rolls and cuts very well. Drippy around the hole.

Mine are mostly, if not completely flat fill. It's impossible to know 100% without opening the bags. I'm not saying this is you but most people identify the flat fill as flat disc. We may be talking about the same fill, just describing it differently. The floppiness can be changed by how you break in your bags. If you went more aggressive on your break in, then yours could be floppier than mine. Flop and fullness are not opposites. Both are subjective and relative to what other bags you are comparing them to.

Would this be a good alternative for the wizard/wizard-L or do you have a different bag that is similar to the wizard/wizard-L’s speed wise but alittle cheaper?

The Wizard and Wizard-L are different bags. Watch the video. I talk about how this bag compares to the Wizard. There are a lot of alternatives to the Wizard and the Wizard-L that are just as good, if not better. The herringbone carpet is a very popular material. I have a lot of reviews of bags that utilize that material.
